About Me
My Name is Clare and I am an Ofsted registered childminder based in Weybridge, Surrey.
I am married to Michael who is a carpenter, I have four children which two still live at home Lewis and my youngest Joseph who was born (17/07/19)my daughter ( Jade )is a mum of two and was previously in childcare, my eldest son (Luke )is a plumber.
We have lived in Weybridge for over 13 years and love the area we are in walking distance of the library, parks, playgroups, shops a children’s centre and surrounded by schools and a short walk from the river.
I have worked in childcare for over 15 years mostly in a creche environment or homebased, my last post was creche manager in which I was there for 11 years I loved my job the parents and children I met along the way but unfortunately due to new management it was decided the creche would be closing so I was made redundant and I decided to become a childminder.
I am committed to provide a fun safe environment for all children in my care. I understand that all children are individuals and treat them with care, empathy and respect. I endeavor to provide children with stimulating learning opportunities that reflect their age and stage of development through play and everyday experiences. I will encourage the children to make healthy food choices and provide a nutritious and balanced diet.

Clare has been looking after our son for a year and we have been thoroughly impressed with the quality of care, range of outings and activities provided, and level of professionalism. There is a range of spaces for children to play and learn in, with a good balance of structured and unstructured play. Clare’s approach is bespoke and appropriate for each child, and she genuinely cares about the children she cares for. I would highly recommend her services.
