About Me
I am an experienced Primary School teacher and a mother of a 19 year old son with a diagnosis on the Autistic Spectrum. I have an up to date DBS.
I endeavour to make learning fun and engaging. I have a thorough knowledge of the National Curriculum and would identify areas your child needs to work on, then plan how best to improve these skills and build self confidence as well.
I work with multisensory techniques and can help your child understand the ways that they learn best.
I am also happy to work in line with what they are currently learning in school and the methodology that is used in their particular school.
In addition, I am free during the day time if parents of home educated children are interested in tutoring, group lessons or workshops: in any aspect of the curriculum.
I have also been looking after some local children to enable their parents to work from home: child led learning in the outside world.
My Experience
I have 27 years experience as a Primary School teacher. I have worked in all year groups from Reception to Year 6. I have an additional qualification in planning and delivering programmes for children with Specific Learning Difficulties.
