I am a motivated person who has a passion for the English Language and the correct use of it.
I love learning and believe that if you are passionate about the subject which you are teaching, you will be innately invested in finding interesting in enjoyable ways to impart your knowledge.
Good manners is very important to me and I pride myself on being proficient, trustworthy and reliable.
My Experience
I am the daughter of a well known Coronation Street actor and grew up watching him and learning from him. I did my work experience at Granada Studios and often accompanied my father to work to watch him and the other actors do their craft. This instilled in me a deep love and appreciation of acting, the magic of it, the beauty of language in terms of performance and how honing these skills and techniques can build on a persons confidence and grounding in many situations.
I graduated from The University of Birmingham with an Honours Degree in Drama and Theatre Arts. I obtained my Postgraduate Diploma From Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and my Masters Degree in Performance is awarded by the University of East Anglia.
I have experience in teaching English up to 11+ and common entrance, however my passion lies in teaching the LAMDA Awards, Speech and Drama, Voice coaching and assistance with preparation for Drama Schools.
My Qualifications
I have a Ba (Hons) Degree in Drama and Theatre Arts from the University of Birmingham, A Postgraduate Diploma in Acting from Mountview Academy of Performing Arts and a Masters Degree in Performance from the University of East Anglia
My Availability
Currently my availability is good. As is the way with tutoring it ebbs and flows. With this in mind I will always do my utmost to accommodate any requirements and try to work around both of our schedules in order to ensure meetings and reliability.
