About Me
I’m Sally Coulson, and I live in Lytham with my husband and 3 children.
I have a 1st class honours degree in Primary Education, with a specialism in the Early Years. I was a teacher for 8 years, and absolutely love working with children. However, since having my first daughter, I decided to take my career in a different direction.
Childminding was something I had wanted to do for a long time, and the time finally seemed right for me to go ahead and pursue my new venture.
I have a strong passion towards the Early Years, and am thoroughly enjoying this new chapter in my life.
I strongly believe that every child should be valued as an individual, and should be given opportunities to pursue their interests from a young age.
I aim to provide a nurturing environment that allows children to feel safe to explore their ideas, and provide them with opportunities to develop in a fun way through a range of learning experiences.
Most of all, I want the children in my care to feel loved! I know how hard it is to leave your child in the care of someone else, and I strive to create a “home from home”, where your child will feel happy, safe and content.

Lancashire Common Assessment Framework.

My Availability
I try to be as flexible as possible in order to cater for the families I provide care for. Hours can be discussed with each individual family to try and suit their childcare requirements.

Our daughter has been attending Sally's by the sea for the last 2 years. She was born at the very beginning of COVID and had never had the opportunity to socialise with other children or having anyone else looking after her. As parents we were extremely anxious about finding the right place to send our baby when I went back to work and am so thankful that we came across Sally.
From the very first day Sally has made us feel like our daughter is in the safest hands possible and she absolutely adores her and quickly settled in.
You can clearly see the time and effort that Sally takes into planning activities for the children and we can see on a weekly basis just how much our daughter learns whilst being in the care of Sally and how much she has progressed.
We are kept up to date throughout the course of the day with lovely pictures and updated on what she is getting up to with her chums. It's lovely to see the relationship and friendships that are growing between the kids that attend on the same days.
We do truly feel blessed to have Sally looking after our little girl and would absolutely recommend her to anyone who was looking for child care.
