About Me

My name is Heather and I am an Ofsted registered childminder.
I am located on Montague Park estate so very handy for anyone travelling to Bracknell, Reading or heading towards the M4.
We love being outdoors, we have fully enclosed garden with a play house and slide amongst other toys. We also have a playground opposite the house which we use regularly, there is some lovely country walks around my home, which we like to go on. We have an allotment and grow vegetables and fruits, which we involve the children with the planting and growing and also able to prepare some yummy meals from.
Arts & crafts, puzzles, cooking, singing and messy play are just a few things on offer here. We also visit parks, farms and have play dates with other childminders.
As a registered childminder I will meet all the requirements set out in the Department for Education’s Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. I will provide your child with a safe, fun and caring environment for them to flourish in. The EYFS sets the standards that all early years providers must meet to ensure that children learn and develop well and are kept healthy and safe. It promotes teaching and learning to ensure children’s have the knowledge and skills they need to start school and provides the right foundation for good future progress throughout school and life.
I will ensure your child is provided with activities that supports the key learning areas, which are; personal, social and emotional development, physical development, communication and language, literacy, mathematics, understanding of the world and expressive arts and design.
Finally and most importantly I would like your child to be happy in my care and will do everything possible to make sure they are settled and feel at home.
