Medua Bilingual Nursery is Ofsted Rated GOOD Nursery in Welling.
We are also Millie’s Mark Award Setting.
Medua bilingual nursery has been operating since 2014 in a childminding setting. All employees are DBS checked and have enough experience in the early years and pre-school education sector. 98 percent of our staff are qualified from childcare Level 3 to BA (Hons) in Early years Education

We cater for children aged from 5 months to 8 years old. The nursery occupies a ground floor unit with two large rooms, which are divided into sections adapted to meet the needs of our children. We also have an outdoor play garden and a near by park. The outdoor play area is well resourced and homely for the children. As the name states we are a two language operating nursery, therefore we will be using French as a second language during play, although English is our primary language.

Our setting is OFSTED regulated and follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum. Standard reports, policies and other relevant information are available on the parents notice board and on request.

Our aim is to provide a comfortable learning environment where children will feel safe and happy. We work in partnership with parents and other professional agencies. This is to help meet the required needs of our children through sharing knowledge and experiences.

We believe a child learns best through play and personal experience, so our intention therefore is to provide a balanced structured free flow learning that will encourage lots of free choices and less formal area of play.

We are closed for two weeks in summer (July/August); one week for Christmas; one week for Easter and every UK bank holiday.
