About Me
My name is Sasha, I am a busy mum of two teenage girls. I am fit and enjoy a very active lifestyle. I relax by reading, dog walking, yoga, and I enjoy the gym.
I am empathetic, hardworking, reliable and enthusiastic. I am a highly motivated person who enjoys new challenges.
I have always worked with young children and families and now have my own business as a childminder, after a long career in childcare and teaching.
I provide a homely child-led approach. Each child is unique and I tailor their care to suit the ever changing needs and development of each child. I support families with routines and aim to work alongside them to provide consistent care between home and my setting to ensure children feel a sense of continuity. I encourage and support children to become confident, inquisitive and independent individuals.
My Experience
I have worked as an Early years professional for my whole career. Starting as a nursery nurse , then a childminder. I embarked on an Early years education degree and PGCE and went on to teach as a lecturer in Early years education for many years. I have come full circle, I decided to set my own business and I am now back working with young children as busy childminder in my own home.
I have vast amounts of experience of working within early years and learning through play and exploration Is my passion. CV can be given on request.
