About Me
We are a happy, friendly family with a two year old daughter and a new baby boy on the way, due May 2019. We live in a beautiful Grade II listed village house in the centre of one of the prettiest villages in Kent, with easy access to shops, pubs and public transport, and beautiful walks and countryside activities right on the doorstep. My husband works away during the week and is usually only home at weekends while I work from home (full-time) as a writer.
My Requirements
We are looking for a live-in nanny for our two young children (a toddler and a baby) to start May/June 2019. I work from home so it will not be sole care unless I am in town for meetings, but responsibilities will include: preparing breakfast/lunch (and sometimes dinner), taking the children to playgroups and out for walks/activities, keeping the communal play areas tidy, keeping the nurseries tidy, entertaining and looking after the children 8.30am to 5.30pm (or thereabouts) Monday to Friday, with some evening babysitting and weekend assistance on an ad hoc basis. Some light housekeeping (emptying dishwasher, hanging out laundry).
Private living accommodation (private bedroom, own TV, bathroom, separate kitchenette, own front door) along with full board (breakfast and lunch with the children, dinner with the family). Complimentary car provided, with insurance. Some travel required (including 2-4 weeks in France in summer and 6-8 weeks in South Africa in autumn). Salary £18,000pa gross. 4 weeks holiday (20 days) per year. First aid qualification and references required. Ofsted registered preferred but not essential. Happy to consider overseas candidates as long as they have right to work in UK.
We would be happy to consider a live-out nanny; but the hours, salary and travel requirements would remain the same. For a live-out nanny, a car would not be provided.
