My Summary
About Me
I am a Childhood and Youth Studies graduate and an Early Years Teacher, passionate about child development, languages, environmental protection, music, and arts and crafts. I love being outdoors in all weather. For me there is nothing better than splashing in the puddles on a rainy day or reading stories in the sunshine. Sometimes I even let the children join me as well! I believe that children learn best from experience and have always aimed to make their learning practical and enjoyable.
My Experience
Childhood and Youth Studies Graduate, an Early Years Teacher and Special Educational Needs And Disabilities Coordinator
I am a caring, patient and smiley early years teacher and can support families with various topics, concerning child development, such as:
- fine and gross physical development;
- slow care;
- language development;
- transitions;
-starting nursery/ school;
- special educational needs;
- building positive attachments and relationships and others.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Since 2014, I have been working in the childcare sector. First, I started as a German Teacher in Sofia, Bulgaria. Then, I moved to Oxford to start my degree in MA Childhood and Youth Studies, which I successfully graduated in December 2016. My degree has given me an excellent knowledge of child development, play theory and practice, culminating in my Master’s thesis on the Impact of Forest Schools on the Authentic Outdoor Experience.
I have an extensive experience supporting children and families in private nurseries.
In 2017, I have embraced the Pikler and Reggio Emilia pedagogy, which has had a tremendous effect on my professional and personal development. Learning about these approaches has changed my relationship with the children, especially during bodily care.
I am a certified Forest School Leader which qualifies me to teach children how to safely use tools, build dens with natural resources, make swings, or cook on the fire.
I am also a qualified Early Years Teacher and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator and can give professional advice about children 0-5.
I am the right person for you if you:
- need to leave your child in the capable hands of a positive, calm and patient professional;
- are looking for a dedicated professional who can give you expert advise on child development;
- need an early years teacher to help with your child's homework;

She was the first nanny we had for our son, and she set the bar very high. Her calm and kind spirit helped my three month old son adjust to a caregiver much better than I could have ever imagined. She helped me feel at ease about his transition, keeping me informed of everything she observed about him. I felt as though she was part of our family “team,” all working together to help him thrive. She is professional, knowledgable, flexible, and my son really loved her. We hated to part ways! She is the nanny you need to hire.
