Caring, friendly and reliable childminder

Shabnam has been childminding our daughter (3 years old) since September 2022 . She looks after her for 4 days each week.
We are very pleased with the care our daughter receives, and the progress she has made whilst in Shabnam’s care. She settled in very quickly and loves going there. She has great fun playing with all the toys and other children in Shabnam's care.
Shabnam provides a wide range of activities, both indoors and outdoors.
Every week, our daughter plays, paints, sings, listens to stories, goes to the park and attends play groups.
Shabnam will provide healthy snacks such as fruit and toast.
Shabnam is always welcoming as well as carring and thoughtful. At the end of each day, she provides a summary of what our daughter has done, what she has eaten, how much she has slept. She also mentions any achievements as well as areas that she needs to practice on at home. She regularly sends us pictures and all of the activities they do during the day.
We are very happy with the level of care our daughter receives and are confident that the positive and supportive environment is helping her develop into a confident and happy little girl.

Absolutely the best!

Shabnam has been an incredible childminder for my daughter for nearly two years, starting when she was just 1 year old, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From the very beginning, Shabnam has gone above and beyond to ensure my daughter is not only safe and cared for but also constantly engaged and learning. She organizes a range of activities, from arts and crafts to painting and water play, which my daughter absolutely loves. She has lots of fun toys in her play room and a large gated garden area where my daughter loves to run around. Every day is filled with fun, creativity, and laughter.

Shabnam is also a wonderful educator. She has taught my daughter nursery rhymes, numbers, and letters, helping her develop important skills in a fun and engaging way. It’s clear that Shabnam is not only focused on providing care but also on fostering my daughter’s development and growth.

What sets Shabnam apart is how she treats my daughter like family. She truly has her best interests at heart, and it shows in everything she does. My daughter feels so comfortable and loved there—she even calls Shabnam "Mummy"! It’s clear that Shabnam treats her like her own child, and that level of care and affection is priceless to me as a parent.

I also love the fact that Shabnam keeps me regularly updated with pictures and videos. It’s such a comfort to know that my daughter is having a wonderful time, learning, and developing new skills. Even on my days off, I still choose to send her to Shabnam because she enjoys it so much and learns so much while she’s there.

Having previously entrusted Shabnam with my son, I knew right away she was the best choice for my daughter. Shabnam fills in all the gaps where I feel I may fall short as a parent, and I can’t thank her enough for that. She is professional, caring, considerate, and truly one of a kind. I cannot recommend Shabnam highly enough—she is an absolute gem!

passionate, knowledgeable and caring

I have been with Shabnam since my girl was only 8.5 months old. She settled with her easily from the first few hrs as she knows quite well how to deal with babies and kids with passion and knowledge. I am very happy with my daughter's development from the early few months till she is now 3 years old and the dedication and love she provides for her is priceless. It is a 2nd home for her and not just a childminder. Shabnam is patient, honest, reliable, supportive and above all she loves her job and it reflects on the children with the love and happiness they have for her. I would definitely recommend her to anyone and it feels like she is a family to my child.
She has school knowledge and experience in a dedicated 1 to 1 focused learning experience which I believe has played a great role in the fast develolment of my girl. I feel my little one goes to a proper school nursery but in a family loving setting and couldn't ask for more!

Caring, welcoming and comfortable Environment

I have been extremely happy with the care my daughter received while at Shabnam. She is a very caring, welcoming, clean, and well-organised professional. My daughter had lots of fun playing with all the toys available. Having just moved into the country I was very comfortable leaving my daughter with Shabnam because Shabnam made her feel comfortable and my daughter settled in very well and was always excited to go to Shabnam’s house. Shabnam engaged her with a lot of activities and painting. I know my daughter enjoyed the sand and water play, drawing, and walking trips. She regularly updates me with videos and pictures of their daily activities.
In all, I am very happy with the care my daughter received while at Shabnam and would gladly recommend her.

Absolutely wonderful!

I went back to work with my son being only 13 months old. I was so nervous that he would struggle being looked after by someone new but Shabnam was great at reassuring me. He settled in so quickly with her. She provided a safe, welcoming and loving environment for my son to grow in.
I worked full time and had my son going to Shabnam five days a week. She always greeted him with a cheerful smile every morning. During the day she would keep him well entertained and engaged during the day with plenty of creative art, playtime with toys, and enriching activities. She would take him to play groups and to the park. She would update me regularly during the day on his well-being with pictures and videos. She also provided healthy and tasty food for him.
Shabnam is really a wonderful person and I could not recommend her enough as a childminder. She has an affinity towards children and is very flexible and cooperative in her manner. If you are considering Shabnam to look after your child, you can be confident you are getting one of the best Childminders around!

Caring, reliable and a home away from home

I am a single mother of two (toddler and a 1 year old). Shabnam took care of my kids like her own. Every mother finds it hard to be apart from her kids but I was at peace when my kids were with Shabnam. She respected my choices; at the beginning, she asked me for a routine I followed at home. Then she tried to follow this as close as possible during the day. She provided the highest quality food. She went out of her way to ensure my kids were stimulated each day, ensuring a great mix of creative and physical play. My eldest enjoyed her time so much she is waiting for me to get another job so she can return to 'Auntie Shabnam'!

Shabnam was a respectful and caring professional. She regularly kept me updated with progress reports and photos and videos. She went the extra mile to ensure my kids received a welcoming, homely environment. Although it was hard for me to leave my kids each morning, I was happy in the knowledge Shabnam took great care of them and treated them like her own children. I don't think a mother can ask for anymore; a loving, clean and safe home environment and a caring and reliable professional.

Thank you for taking care of my kids like your own Shabnam. It's a testament to your personality and home that even now my kids remember you as Auntie Shabnam. I hope we will be able to return as soon as I find another job! We all miss you.
