About Me
I tutor English and Maths for Key Stages 1 and 2 (primary school), including SATS work. I tutor secondary school English, Maths, and Science (particularly Physics) from Year 7 up to GCSE. I also teach study skills for adults, and I support adults with undergraduate study, particularly those on business and education courses.
My Experience
For the past 25 years I have worked with children who have fallen behind or who want/need extra support and children with special needs, including gifted children, children on the autism spectrum, deaf children, children with dyslexia and ADHD and children who need speech therapy.
I have developed my skills across a broad base through working with a wide range of learners and subjects, rather than one group or subject.
Each weekday, from 9 am to 3 pm, I support Home Education families by providing a unique, small setting where children's individual learning needs are valued and met in a friendly, supportive environment outside of mainstream provision. We devise individual learning and development programmes for each child, based on their abilities, interests, learning styles and needs. Over the years, I have produced a large library of my own teaching materials and resources, including workbooks, to support my work. It has proved very effective in supporting children's learning and development and is constantly added to.

Bachelor of Science (Maths,Education and Child Psychology)
4 A-Levels and 10 GCSEs
My Availability
I have a limited number of vacancies for weekday, 9 am - 3 pm provision. I also offer evening and weekend slots for 1-1 tutor sessions.

1-1 Private Tutor Session: Fees are for one and a half hours per session
