I am OFSTED registered childminder in Strensall, married with 3 children aged 12,11 and 5. I am a extremely active and energetic person who is constantly on the go! I love cooking,dancing and having fun.
I also speak fluent french and would love to encourage any children within my care to experience the french language/culture.
My working hours are 7am to 6pm
My Experience
I have 3 children of different ages and have frequently looked after many of my friends children on various occasions all ranging from baby to teenagers. I have worked within a preschool setting and help out at my local village school on numerous occasions with their annual school trips and cook school which has been developed recently within the school.

My two children spent a Year with Brigitte. Both of them loved spending time with her and would be reluctant to leave at the end of the day.
Brigitte is great with younger children and my little boy picked up lots of French during his time there. Brigitte has a lovely house and my children enjoyed the garden, picking vegetables and feeding the chickens!
We miss you!

My two boys (currently aged 5 and 2) have been with Brigitte since before their first birthdays. They simply adore her.
Brigitte has a small child-minding business and as a result provides the ultimate 'home from home' experience. She is always taking them out and about (local play groups, the library, walks in the country, swimming) as well as providing marvellous in-house entertainment in her well equipped home and large garden. Sometimes it's a struggle to get them to come home!
She has spoken French to my boys since starting to look after them and my 5 year old is now pretty much bilingual. She is also willing to provide meals for the children too, which takes the pressure off me.
I give her 5 stars all round!

Our two boys ages 1.5yrs and 5 years went to Briggite as a childminder when I decide to pick up extra days at work. The boys absolutely loved going and still see her on a regular basis for a big squeeze from her. It's isn't like a typical childminder it's a home from home service in a lovely family environment. The children enjoyed trips out to the local groups, library, swimming while also learning a little French along the way. I would highly recommend Briggite to anyone looking for a 5* childminding service.

Both of my daughter's aged 9 and 7 loved their time spent at Brigitte's after school, and they both miss going a lot. Brigitte is a very happy and energetic person who provides excellent childcare, as well as some lovely tasting food. My girls fitted in extremely well with Brigitte's children who were very friendly and playful. An added bonus was the fact that Brigitte speaks French and she taught my girls some basic French. All in all Excellent. :)

My 10 year old daughter loves going to Brigittes house and play in the lovely big garden or the giant trampoline. She also loves the tasty cooking.
She asks to go on days off too :)

I have great peace of mind when at work knowing that my son is with Brigitte. She provides great childcare in a comfortable "home from home" environment. My son adores her!
