About Me
I am a mum of 2 girls; OFSTED registered with a good OFSTED report and qualified Early Years Teacher Status (Level 6). Offering flexible childcare.
I have Paediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene Certification, Safeguarding certificate and Certification in Childminding with Surrey County Council, and an Enhanced Disclosure certification.
I have experience in caring for children with developmental delays or learning difficulties such as autism and Down's syndrome.
My decision to become a childminder is a result of my passion to see children flourish in a positive & nurturing child-centered environment achievable through training & adopting best practices & policies, in a fun caring, child-centered environment where children are encouraged to develop to a high level of self-awareness, be free to use their initiative, unique gifts, talents & abilities, thus demonstrating independence and confidence. They also learn to respect & value others in their formative years from working & playing alongside children of different ages and backgrounds.
My Experience
I have 13 years of professional experience caring for children from different backgrounds, cultures, ethnicities, and some with development needs. Years of looking after my own children and that of family, friends, and neighbours. I have also hosted many foreign children (attending boarding school in Kent & Surrey) during half-term holidays of the years, and I have been a voluntary Sunday School Teacher for a couple of London churches since 1997.
My Qualifications
Paediatric First Aid, CHIP Certification in Childminding with Surrey County Council, Safegaurding Children & CRB certification ,Food hygiene & Catering, Child development & attachment, Makaton sign, Professional Management qualifications in Prince 2, ITIL v3 & BSc (Hons) Degree in Computer in Science including Early Years Teacher Status (level 6). Medication training for care
My Availability
Available services childcare for babies & early years pre-school, Mon- Friday 8.00 am - 6.00 pm.
Breakfast & after-school pick-up for 4yrs+ to 11 yrs during term time.
Collection from local schools in Caterham, Whyteleafe, Woldingham, Warlingham & Hamsey Green area.
Now offering local authority funded term-time placements from 9 month babies and two Year old FEET. Universal 15 hours for all three & four-year-old children, including extended 30 hours for working parents and families in receipt of universal credit.

My daughter really enjoys femi’s place and her company. Femi has spacious place and lots of toys for children. She herself is very easy going and accommodating. We are grateful for her.

We were so fortunate to find Femi at a time when we needed a childminder to look after our daughter. She has special needs and we were using a bit of makaton with her at the time and this is what connected us to Femi.
Our daughter settled in well; Femi is excellent in looking after babies and toddlers and getting them into a good routine. Our daughter was well cared for throughout the 18 months she was with Femi and we recommend her to anyone looking for a childminder for young children.

My daughter is currently at Great Park and the service offered is fantastic. It is a great location and a very happy atmosphere.
