About Me
I am an experienced Early Years teacher, specialising in literacy and numeracy, with a strong interest in phonics. I have used this passion and experience to develop an educational product which helps children with these early skills. I have experience in working with children with additional needs, planning and leading intervention groups. I am also qualified ELSA, helping children with anxiety, anger and self esteem challenges. It is wonderful to see a child blossom once they are able to manage and understand their emotions. I work with children in a variety of ways, often through art and craft.
My Experience
I am passionate about Early Years education and set up and ran two successful Pre-Schools for over 20 years. I have a wide experience within the Early Years Foundation Stage, including Reception and also have experience in Year 1 classes. I have worked extensively with children on a 1:1 and small group basis to help improve their foundation skills and also with children whose first language is not English.

Diploma of Pre-School Practice (Level 3). 20 years relevant experience. Certificat Pratique de Langue Francaise, Diploma d'Etudes Francaises (Sorbonne examinations) ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant)
