About Me
Hello my name is Leanne. I am an Ofsted registered childminder working in the Pin Green area of Stevenage. My aim is to work in partnership with parents and carers to provide a fun, safe and caring environment that stimulates children's learning and development.
I promote living a healthy lifestyle by encouraging regular exercise, fresh air and healthy eating choices. I have a small allotment plot where children can grow their own healthy snacks.
I offer a home from home environment with a cosy living area, downstairs toilet, and an outside play room with many recourses. I also have a lovely outside play space with shelter from the rain and sun. I am situated a short walk away from toddler groups, parks, fairlands lakes, play scheme, woods, churches, mosque and children's centres.
I am very creative. I do promote messy play and will spend lots of time outdoors come rain or shine so please don't send children in their best clothes as they will get mucky.
I do school runs to and from Trotts Hill School.

My Experience
I have over 10 years experience in caring for children. I have 4 children between the ages of 18 years and 6 years old. I have plenty of newborn experience as well as early years all the way up to teens.
I also have experience and knowledge in caring for children with Dyslexia, ADHD, Epilepsy and severe Asthma.
My Qualifications
I hold:
Level 3 NVQ certificate in homebased childcare
Full paediatric first aid certificate which is renewed every 3 years
Level 2 food hygiene certificate
Safeguarding children training updated yearly
HM government Prevent Duty training

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
My fees are charged at an hourly rate of £6.50 per hour. I also accept tax free childcare, childcare vouchers, and offer government funded childcare places.

- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Trotts Hill Primary and Nursery School

I have used Little Herbert’s since 2019.
Both of my boys have attended and one is still there.
I find Leanne’s setting very nice, clean and calming, Leanne has a lovely presence about her and all the children love her, like most parents you want to send your child to the best setting that you can possibly find, when we discovered Leanne we just knew this was the right setting for our baby and both of our boys have settled in really well, I highly recommend Leanne as she is honestly one of the kindest and patient person we have ever come across.
Thanks for everything you do and we will always continue to recommend you and your service to others.
