About Me
My name is Helen, I’m 50 and I live with my husband , Simon, three of my four children: Dan (22), Joe (20) and Lily (10) and our dog, Rosco. We live in a detached house in Wistaston with lots of space including a large playroom and a big garden offering plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities.
I am dedicated to promoting high quality childcare in a warm, friendly, home from home environment in which your little one can play, learn and grow. As I parent myself, I understand the importance of finding the correct childcare for your child, I believe it is vital to work in partnership with parents every step of the way and will ensure that you are kept informed about your child’s progress and development throughout their time with me.
My Experience
I have been registered with OFSTED as a childminder since September 2018. Prior experience includes 22 years as an early years teacher, initially in a busy Primary School and, most recently as the Lead Teacher and SENDCo in a LA Nursery School.
I have a Bed (Hons) degree in Early Years Education and I have attended and hold certificates in Paediatric First Aid and in Basic and Intermediate Safeguarding. I also hold a certificate in Level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety.

My Availability
I am able to offer full or part time care for six children.
I’m open 46 weeks of the year but am happy to accept term time only children.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
I charge £5 per hour or £40 for full days.
I except funded 9 month olds, 2’s and 3/4 year olds, including those entitled to 30 hours.
I am happy to accept childcare vouchers and Tax Free Childcare payments.
