I'm Amy,
I'm married to Jim and have 2 children who are 8 and 7 (15 months apart - its wonderful chaos!) and are both at Hook Schools.
Our wonderful nanny is leaving us to get married in July 2025 and so we are looking for a new person to join our family starting September 2025 (with an option of starting earlier and getting to know us during the holidays)
My son (8) is football mad and can be found kicking a ball for 90% of his awake hours. Outside of that he loves maths and reading and a good boardgame. My daughter (7) is hilarious and is a proper character, she's super chatty, loves her friends and barbie's and gives great fashion advice.
We are an active family and we all love to be outside. We believe in firm boundary setting, consistency and lots of fun.
We have had several nannnies throughout the kids lives and still have a close relationship with all of them. We so appreciate the different point of view and energy that someone else brings into our family. Happy to give you any of them as a reference should you wish to hear the inside scoop about us as a family :)
My Requirements
We are looking for someone to help us 2/3 afternoons after school with an option of hours during half-terms and school holidays
During this time you'll collect the kids from school, do homework with them and cook dinner for the family. Some light housework (just unpacking / repacking the dishwasher, cleaning up after dinner, maybe moving the occasional load of laundry through the washer).
Term time: 3pm - 7pm Mon, Tues, Wed
There is some flexibility on the days and hours so please just take this as a guide and we can chat about what your needs are
