My Experience

Many years experience teaching in various Sunday schools for all ages and started my childminding journey in 2017

I work within the EYFS and prime areas

CL- communication and language

PSED- physical social emotional? development

UTW- understanding the world


PD- physical development

EAD- expressive arts and design

I embrace all children through, activities, foods, dressing up, books and general environment.

I have front and back gardens which enables the children to go out in all weathers.

During the holidays we plan outings to various places

The pre school toddlers attend music, soft play ect on a weekly basis

I Have experience with working with various types of special needs children, both professionally and personally.

My home is completely planned out with children in mind. I have a dedicated playroom and I have a large array of toys from birth and beyond, which include educational t0oys to stimulate learning, picture and reading books, musical instruments and also a Wii which is great to keep older children active. In addition i have a large selection of board games and imagination and role play equipment..

Outside is a secure and safe environment with an array of toys,activities and equipment for children of all ages. A separate eating area (weather permitting) and early learning games and activities for co ordination with their fine and gross motor skills.

I attend local playgroups weekly and parks daily. I feel that this is a must for children of all ages to interact with others to encourage their personal physical emotional and "social skills".

All the children in my care are provided with a nutritious fresh homemade meal daily and healthy snacks. My school children are all offered a breakfast before school and after school a nutritious meal. I accommodate children with allergies

I have separate sleeping mats for babies, which are clean and warm.

I find my job very rewarding and enjoy watching children develop. I pride myself in a high standards and deliver an excellent service and I am happy to accommodate any request a parent requires individually for their child or children.

My Qualifications

My qualifications are :

Ofsted Registered, Safe guarding Home based, Safe Guarding, Paediatric First Aid level 3, Food hygiene, Health and Safety, coaching and leadership development (with Leeds Beckett university), Btec in Business and Finance, currently studying in childcare and continuing my professional development in childcare. I have various other business and accounting related qualifications which assist with being self employed and running a sound viable business. I complete courses frequently to keep my practice abreast with Ofsted and various other regulators ie DFE, Public Health England ect

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
• Childminding from £8.50 per hour
