About Me
I work as a postnatal doula- supporting families with a new baby in their homes. I offer emotional and practical support to help you through the early days with a baby. I have two children of my own and have also worked for 6 years as a midwife locally. I am sensitive, caring and intuitive in my approach, and will be a quiet, reassuring presence in your home, making a huge difference to the family, allowing you opportunity to rest, be looked after and enjoy getting to know your baby with someone experienced alongside to support you.
Ideally I like to work with newborn babies, but I will consider working with families who are looking for assistance with babies up to 9months. I also offer babysitting and occasional night support for new mothers.
My Experience
I have worked for 6 years as a midwife locally, and worked with postnatal families for over 10 years. I have completed doula training, and am an accredited postnatal doula in the Doula Assosciation, I have undergone breastfeeding training (and personal experience), first aid training, I have an enhanced DBS check, a clean driving license and nanny insurance cover- evidence of all these can be seen on request. (I have also had my Covid vaccines) I am also babywearing trained, so am able to give advice on carrying your baby safely in a sling, and have access to carriers which you are welcome to borrow.

My Availability
Weekdays, within half an hour drive of Woking, Surrey. Occasional overnight work, evening and Saturday babysitting of babies also considered.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £18.00 per hour
- Doulas from £24.00 per hour
I charge £24 per hour, which includes a 10 mile round trip. If you are further away, I would need to ask an additional 45p per mile over the 10 miles.
