About Me
I have been a registered childminder since 2010, and have previously worked in a childcare setting. I live with my husband and 3 grown up children. I have dedicated room for childminding and a spacious garden for the children to play in. I have cared for children from the ages of 9 months onwards during my childminding career. I also run a local playgroup where I provide a warm and loving evironment for childminders, parents, and carers to bring their children to.
My Experience
I am an ofsted registered childminder and have been offering my services for 9 years. I have my own car and can do pickups and drop offs to local schools.At the moment i have spaces to do pickups from lilicroft primary school and in september i will start at hoyle cout primary in baildon. I have been graded Good by Ofsted in my latest inspection, which was in June 2018. I provide a stimulating, fun environment for the children at my setting and also take the childen on daily outings. I provide hot meals and healthy snacks for the children in my care also.

Shaista is an absolutely amazing childminder and I’m so glad we’ve found her for my little boy. I was really worried he wouldn’t settle for her because he’s struggled with a previous childminder. But he’s absolutely loved her from day one. She’s such a lovely caring lady and she’s so good with my son. Whenever he goes they are always so busy doing activities or going out somewhere. He loves the food she makes and her house is always so clean. Couldn’t recommend her enough!

I was really anxious about leaving my baby boy with a childminder for the first time, but Shaista and her wonderful team have completely put my mind at ease. From the start, she took the time to get to know him and made sure he felt safe and comfortable. Now he absolutely loves going there—he’s always smiling when I drop him off and happy when I pick him up.
She’s incredibly caring and attentive, and I can tell she genuinely loves what she does. She prepares fresh, home-cooked meals every day, which I really appreciate, and she always gives me a full update on how his day went. It’s clear she runs her setting with so much care, warmth, and professionalism.
I’m so thankful we found her—couldn’t recommend her childminding services enough!

Shahista looked after my son from the age of 9 months. It took him a bit of time to settle in but thanks to Shahista and her family it didn't take too long. After a week or so he was so happy and content, this is because of the love and affection he recieved. It was like home away from home! My son loved going to Shahistas and had an amazing bond with the whole family...and still does 9 years later!
Shahista provided yummy meals and snacks throughout the day, took them on lovely adventures and made sure they had lots of fun.
I had daily pictures and texts to keep me updated and let me no how his day is going.
My son is such a kind caring gentle soul and a lot of that credit goes to Shahista for giving him an amazing start to life.
Anyone would be lucky to have Shahista in their life.

Shaista is an incredible childminder! She looked after my two children for over 5 years and I couldn't have asked for a better caregiver. She is incredibly patient and attentive to the needs of the children in her care. She always made sure that my children felt safe, happy, and engaged while they were with her.
Shaista is very creative and always had new and exciting activities planned for the children, from crafts to outdoor games. I was always amazed by her ability to keep the children entertained and happy!
One of the things I appreciated most about Shaista was her open and honest communication. She was always willing to discuss any concerns or issues that came up and worked with me to find solutions that worked for both of us.
Overall, I would highly recommend Shaista as a childminder. She is an exceptional caregiver and any child would be lucky to have her in their life.

My son Aydin has attended shaista childcare when he was only a few months old and left when he started pre school. Shaista is an excellent childminder very friendly, caring, loving, patient and my child was safe in her care. She was brilliant with my son always kept me updated with his progress & development, he learned new skills everyday did a lot of activities with him also took them on outings & day trips kept me posted with pictures & daily activities. My son felt like he was part of the family very comfortable, & amazing atmosphere he developed a bond with them all.
I would highly recommend shaista she is amazing at her job.

My daughter and son both attend Shaistas childcare services. Inaya has been there since January 2018 and from the moment we saw the setting we were put at ease as Shaista presented a warm, welcoming and kind manner towards me and Inaya.
Inaya initially suffered from separation Anxiety as did my son Isa however Shaista's caring and attentive personality brought them to ease.
She also made sure I received daily texts, pictures and updates on my little ones as they settled, which assured me they were doing well.
Both my children love the setting as Shaista offers a large variety of activities and she also plans outdoor activities taking into account every child’s needs.
She offers hot home made meals and healthy breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided through out the day. At the end of each day I was kept informed about what they had to eat and how the day went.
Shaista also acknowledges special days such as birthdays, religious occasions, mothers day etc. and gets the children fully involved in the activities to help reflect them special days.
Shaista has not only made my children feel so welcome in her own home, she has also taught them how to behave well, teach them good manner as well as helping develop their speech and language.
I always get asked how my little ones are so well mannered and kind, which is down to the wholesome professional way Shaista has cared for them.
