About Me
Thank you for your interest in Little Honey Bears !
I have a large garden and a purpose built log cabin I use for childminding as well as lots of open plan space inside for the children to play & explore, we have a separate sensory room for the children to enjoy which is excellent for emotional regulation and relaxing.
I have lots of resources, toys, & equipment and tailor all activities to children's individual learning styles and needs. We have regular outings such as play parks, the beach, new forest, farms, and so on, the list is endless in this beautiful part of the world we are so lucky to call home!.
I have over 14 year’s experience in childcare and truly love what I do.
My aim as a child care provider is to provide a quality childcare service to children and their families in a safe, loving, home from home environment where children feel happy, and confident to play, explore and grow.
As a parent myself I know how daunting it can be for the parent and child alike to choose a setting or person to care for your child.
I am Ofsted registered, fully qualified, hold a live up to date DBS certificate, paediatric first aid trained, safeguarding children trained and am a member of the professional association for childcare and early years. I am always updating my qualifications and training and furthering my professional development
I am able to offer advice and support on weaning and healthy eating, sleep routines toilet training and communication and language.
I work to standards set by the EYFS and provide activities and resources to support children in developing confidence, becoming problem solvers, making relationships and supporting their personal, social and emotional development as well as their communication, language and physical development.
All children are treated as individuals and I respect their individual learning styles and interests and support children to develop at their own pace.
When children spend time in a setting like Little Honey Bears where we promote equality, diversity and inclusion they are more able to make progress in all areas of their learning and development.
Your child’s safety and wellbeing is of the upmost importance to me and as a parent you can have complete confidence that your child is in safe hands at Little Honey Bears.
I offer settle sessions to parents and children free of charge as feel getting to know your little one before they start really helps with the transition into childcare, these sessions take place in my home so your child gets used to the setting and I'm also happy to come to your house so your child can see me in there own familiar environment, the settling really is key to building the bond between myself and the child and welcoming them ( and you) into our extended family.

Krystal is absolutely adored by all the children at the setting, she has such nurturing and upbeat personality my son is enthralled in whatever activities are going on the second he arrives and has developed some really lovely friendships during his time at the setting. He comes home after each day feeling like he’s been on an adventure, Little Honey Bears has helped him gain so much confidence and curiosity for the world around him I I really couldn’t ask for more. Thank you so much!!!! :-)

My little boy Zac was with Honey bears for 3 years before starting school. I was really nervous to put him with a childminder as he'd been looked after my family whilst I worked but Honey Bears ended up being his home away from home. His speech and social skills seemed to take off after just a few weeks and i can honestly say Zac loved it. He still asks if he can go to play now! Krystal has been so professional throughout but manages to be motherly to the children too. 100% would recommend.

Little honey bears has been incredible for my little boy, he started when he was 9 months old when I went back to work. Since joining his speech is fantastic, social skills massively improved and independence increased 😊 I could be more grateful for little honey bears, Krystal put me at complete ease when I went back to work and has always been really accommodating with my work commitments. The children have so much fun from painting to Christmas parties to beach and aquarium trips.
Krystal fills out a daily food, sleep and activities diary so I know what my little one has been up to but I also love the folder she makes of all their achievements with photos throughout the term.
I would highly recommend to anyone and everyone.
