About Me
I am Gayani and I welcome you to Twinkle Childminding. I am an Ofsted registered Childminder. I live with my husband who works as a Finance Manager and two little girls. My daughters are 11 and 7 years old and both of them are attending Bandon Hill (Meadow Field) Primary school. I have been working as an Accountant and decided to do a carrier change to become a childminder. From a young age, I always wanted to work with children and after having my own kids I decided to full fill my dream.
Being a full-time working mum, I understand what an emotional roller-coaster it can be to find the right person to look after your little ones. After completing the childminding training course with Sutton Council, I have a great understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and help them to develop and grow into happy confident children, in a safe and caring environment.
We live in a lovely 3 bed semi-detached house in Wallington. We have an enclosed private garden and I have dedicated most of my Ground Floor for children’s use.
As a childminder, I am an Early Years Educator and therefore it is required by law to follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework to prepare your child for the next stage in their development. I ensure that children learn and develop well and are kept healthy and safe. In my setting, I provide a balance of child led (free play) and adult led activities. Plenty of toys are available to cover all areas of Learning and development.
My Experience
I have been Child minding from September 2017 since my Ofsted registration.
My Qualifications
OFSTED Registered, Successfully completed Childminding Course with Sutton Council, Full Paediatric First Aid qualification, Completed safeguarding children course, Level 2 in Food Safety in catering.
My Availability
I have two places available before and after school from Monday to Friday. I do school drop off and pickup from Bandon Hill (Meadow Field) and Bandon Hill Pre school (Bandon Hill Methodist Church).
I also have 2 full time places available for young children (EYFS) 1 to 5 years old.
