Welcome to Lollitots Childminding.
My name is Louise and I'm an OFSTED registered childminder with over 20 years experience within the childcare sector. I live in the Village of Adderbury with my Husband and 2 children and our miniature Dachshund puppy Florence.
I am a formally trained Nursery Nurse and hold a Level 3 Diploma in Childcare & Education. I have worked as a Teaching assistant for the past 6 ½ years. I am Read write inc Phonic Trained, SPIRALS trained and for the past 5 years have been running a children's speech, language and communication development programme.
At Lollitots, we provide a welcoming home-from-home environment to support children to learn and grow in a happy and safe place. Our learning environment is stimulating and exciting, with a wide range of resources that encourage children to develop their independence, curiosity as learners and young people. In addition to their independent learning time, we provide adult initiated learning activities based on the children's individual interests and stage, making their experiences meaningful and exciting for them. All planning, activities and routines are linked to the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework. We have an outdoor space with varied play equipment and veggie garden and spend a lot of time outside in the local area exploring nature, the world around us. We also take the children on adventures such as outings to local gardens and parks, the library, farms, woods, soft play and other local attractions and play groups.
As well as day-to-day care, we also provide before and after school care and school holiday care for children of primary age - this includes arts and crafts, cooking and baking, local visits and days out.
We provide breakfast, morning and afternoon healthy snack, lunch and a healthy tea. We have milk and water available throughout the day. We ask that Parents provide children's nappies, wipes and barrier creams. Our rates are £5.50 per hour.

We have full time and part spaces, as well as spaces for before and after school care with collection from Christopher Rawlins school Adderbury.
My Experience
I was toddler room leader in a nursery for 8yrs. I have also nannied for 4 lovely families (before and after school, holiday and a full time), in-between babysitting for many more families this includes weekend babysitting and weddings. I have taken temp work in preschools and am a ad hoc nanny for a couple of agencies and have been a key stage 1 teaching assistant. Plus I have my own 2 lovely children b15 g12.
