About Us

The Old Station Nursery Oxford has been specially built to give parents who work on or live near Oxford Science Park complete peace of mind. The nursery offers exceptional care, enriched by unique learning opportunities for your child. One such experience is child-friendly cooking classes, helping to equip children with valuable skills and deeper knowledge of the cooking process.

Our new nursery building opened in March 2022 and offers a modern, fresh and welcoming space for all children to flourish. Inside the nursery, we have three age-specific rooms; a baby room, toddler room and pre-school room, all led by our warm and friendly team. Each room has been carefully designed to enhance the children’s development depending on their age group. We also have a wonderful secure garden for all the children to enjoy and explore.

Juggling work with childcare is never easy; that’s why our day nursery on Oxford Science Park is loved by many working families. For those parents who work on the park, we are ideally located amongst the offices. For families living near the park, we are very easy to get to either on foot or using the local buses that stop nearby from Iffley (the 3A bus travels down the Iffley Road, or the ‘Pick Me Up’ app operates to the Science Park). If you drive, we have a designated drop off area right outside the nursery so drop-off and pick-up can be simple and quick.

We work closely with parents to ensure that, when the time comes, the children are prepared for ‘big’ school. We have long standing links with local primary schools to ensure a smooth transition for all, children and parents alike!
