About Me
We are Nick & Charly, married for 9 years and blessed with 2 girls and a boy - Athena (8yrs), Troy (7yrs) and Kleo (5yrs) and live in Welwyn with two indoor cats. Charly works away as a vet and Nick runs the business. Being successful business owners we understand how to build teams and hope you would quickly feel valued and part of our little team.
My Requirements
We seek the sixth member of our family. The heartbeat of the household.
A busy house with three children between 5 and 8 years old at school and Mum/Dad running a fast growing vet clinic need an experienced housekeeper/nanny to keep the house in good order and the kids safe.
We expect this to be a long term partnership offering autonomy and a variety of responsibilities. You will be instrumental in the development of our children and allow us to focus on building our next house and growing our business.
In term time your work is much more focused on household chores and during the school holidays your time changes to focus on the children. You need to love cleaning!!
Start date is flexible but it would be great to have someone start in the coming months.
Finally, a cat lover is a must as we share our home with two gorgeous Burmese house cats!
You must be a non smoker with a clean driving license (car provided) and have contactable referees.
This role is 4 days/week, 36hrs/week and 6 weeks of holidays/yr plus bank holidays. You are expected to be flexible to meet family needs as the children develop and do more before and after school.
Term time: 10hrs inc 1hr lunch. Earliest start 6.30am. Latest finish 7.30pm
Non term time & at clubs: 10hrs inc 1hr lunch. Earliest start 6.30am. Latest finish 5pm
Non tern time & at home: 9hrs as have to eat with kids. Earliest start 6.30am. Latest finish 5pm
Non of these are split shifts. They are continuous shifts.
Responsibilities include
Household chores - cooking, cleaning, ironing, washing, shopping....
Organise household maintenance needs
Assist with after school clubs
Help organise schooling and attend school events/shows/activities
Homework, reading, maths
Assist with homework and educational tasks, fostering a supportive learning environment.
Taking children to school/clubs/events/friends
Attend/facilitate play dates
Plan and organise fun and stimulating activities that cater to the children's interests.
Create and prepare healthy family meals
Salary up to £17.50/hr depending on experience.
