About Me
With over 16 years of experience as an Ofsted Outstanding Registered Childminder, I have built a setting that feels more like an extended family than a formal childcare service. I believe in creating a warm, nurturing, and homely environment where each child is seen, heard, and supported as an individual. My approach is deeply bespoke—tailored to the needs of every child and family I work with. Children in my care are not just ‘attendees’, but become part of a close-knit, loving setting that values their wellbeing, development, and happiness. While the atmosphere is personal and family-oriented, I uphold the highest professional standards to ensure safety, structure, and quality in every aspect of care.
My Experience
Over the years, I’ve supported children from a wide range of backgrounds, ages, and developmental stages—from babies to school-age. I have extensive experience in managing routines, school runs, meal planning, and supporting key early milestones such as weaning, toilet training, language development, SEN and school readiness. I’ve built long-term relationships with families, often caring for siblings across several years, which has given me a strong understanding of how to adapt to each child’s evolving needs. My setting runs smoothly, with clear routines and plenty of creative, educational, and outdoor play woven into each day. Whilst also having daily attendance at local play groups, parks, libraries etc.
My Qualifications
I hold up-to-date qualifications in Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, Food Hygiene, and Early Years Development, and attend regular training to stay ahead in best practices. My setting follows the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework, ensuring your child receives care and education aligned with national standards.
