About Me
My name is Lesley and I am a fully qualified nursery nurse however have been childminding in my home for the last 20 years. I live in the Creekmoor / Broadstone area of Poole, Dorset.
I am a very active childminder, following the Early Years foundation syllabus for Babies up to 5 years old.
I am able to claim all government funding from 9 months, 2 years ,3 years and 4 years old children.
I encourage independence for my children and spend lots of time outside on walks and on trips to country parks, beaches and the woods with lots of bug hunting, den building and Adventures.
I also attend social meeting childminders drop in centers twice a month and arranged events.
I also have a dedicated craft area in my home for children to explore their creative sides.
My garden I have just made a new mud kitchen, Digger area, a wildlife area, sand and water play and a water wall to encourage problem solving, science and engineering.
I really enjoy gardening, growing vegetables and flowers with the children linking my setting with the children's home life by growing at home with their parents.
I am a forest school leaders course level 3, as I feel the great outdoors is the way forwards for children of all ages. Nurture by nature from a young age, while learning and having fun.
The children and I enjoy music and movement and we have just started children's yoga at home.

Lesley is a marvellous childminder; she gives me confidence to get on with my working life knowing that my Daughter is safe and well cared for. Lesley has created a home from home environment for all the children and encourages educational values to all the wonderful activities the children undertake, in a friendly, enthusiastic motivated and very accommodating approach. In the short time my Daughter has been cared for by Lesley she has learn so much and has encouraged confidence and good behaviour. I am overjoyed by the enormous improvement in my daughters speech, understanding and toilet training. Lesley keeps me well informed and up to date with my Daughters progress, I could not ask for anymore. It goes without doubt, I would highly recommend Lesley and feel lucky to have found her!

Lesley has looked after my son (now 3) for the past 10 months for between 3 and 5 days a week. She provides an excellent level of care in her home, with the most amazing conservatory full of craft activities...the kids are constantly bringing home the days creations!
Lesley also takes them to Farmer Palmers most weeks, and also the local nature reserve and Forest School. She is also growing strawberries and sunflowers with them in her garden.
In addition to looking after my son, Lesley picks up my daughter (5) from Springdale school in Broadstone, and takes her back to her home until I pick them up at six.
I cannot complain about the level of care provided. Her outstanding ofsted rating is well deserved.
I recommend Lesley completely.
