About Me
Hi my name is emma, I am 35 years old. I live on perton, close to Wolverhampton, and have done so all of my life
I have completed my childminding training and DBS checked, safe guarding etc.
As of August 2018 I will be an ofsted registered childminder, were I will be offering a home from home, safe, respectful, friendly atmosphere and environment.
Every child matters, and in my settings all children of any age will learn , develop though fun and playing, also exploring the outside world, on visit and exploring nature, all around us.
I am a mother of 4 myself and have experience the knowledge of motherhood which I have loved every moment.
I also have a daughter who is special needs ( dyslexic and dyspraxia) and have worked with special needs children.
We have a gorgeous little shih tzu dog called buddy he is very loving and loves cuddles, he loves to sleep, we also have a beautiful rabbit called poppy, with having pets I think it encourages the children to respect animals and learn how to treat and look after them.
I love my arts and crafts and can't imagine anything better than letting children explore with paints, glitter, or to make a lovely handmade card for a loved one, I love using the tuff tray, sand, water as young children experience the texture and sensory play.
My Experience
I have 4 beautiful children myself age ranging from 8years to an18years old, which as a full time mom is an experience in it's self as it is a 24hour job, but it is the best job you can ever have.
I have help start and raise a mothers and toddlers group from scratch for a local school, which when we started had only a handful of people and now has over 30+ parents and children..
I have volunteered in many nurseries looking after babies and toddlers in a day to day setting for my nursery nurse course.
I have volunteered in my local school in nursery /reception/ yr2 and other year groups were I have had groups of children helping them learn whilst on my Teaching Assistant course.
I have also worked as a dinner lady for a local school looking after children of all ages and different abilities, and been a first aid lady dealing with the children in all situations.
My Qualifications
Btec national Diploma in early years which qualified me as a nursery nurse to work with new born babies to the age of 11years old
Teaching assistant level 2,& 3 (TA) which qualified me to work in a school environment working with children ages from 4years old to 18years old, also learning the policies and procedures, equality, diversity, British values etc that schools use in their day to day setting.
