About Me
Hi my name is Remmick Wilson; I live in meanwood with my partner and 2 grown up children.
I have been a registered Childminder for 19 years. I offer a warm loving and safe environment for your child to be cared in. You will find my home to be a friendly and pleasant place for children to spend time where all children are treated with respect and valued as an individual. I have a variety of toys for both indoor and outdoor play, including jigsaws, books, dolls and cars as well as a small climbing frame with slide in the garden. I do my utmost to encourage learning through play. Once a week we attend a local childminding group as well lots of other outings.
My Experience
I have worked with children since leaving school this included working in nurseries and being a nanny as well as having my own two children.

Fully Ofsted Registered on the Compulsory and Voluntary Register
Full CRB checked
NVQ3 in early years and education.
Paediatric 1st aid certificate
I am also a member of the Pacey Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years.

Rem has looked after all 3 of my children from the age of 11 months since 2014. My youngest is still with Rem. I remember visiting nurseries and childminders and feeling a bit lost with what to do and then visited Rem. I instantly felt at ease. She's got the warmest and calm presence around the little ones. I am still close friends with other children and their families who have been to Rem's and the bond and respect between the children is so beautiful to see. My children have all been so happy to go every day. The settling in period didn't take long and I knew how cared and safe my children felt. We've got to know the family well over the years and they are wonderful. For me, living in a city without family and finding Rem just made things feel so much easier and reassuring. I love how the little ones visit Harewood house, play groups, picnics in the park regularly and meet up with another childminder who also has 3 little ones she looks after so the children get to see other children regularly as well. I think this is a real benefit as it helps the children transition from being at home with family to eventually going to preschool or school. Rem supports the children to be kind, confident and to have fun. We love Remmick and her family. We highly recommend Rem to everyone x

My son started going to Remmick from only a few months old and straight away there was an unbelievable connection which reassured me she was definitely the right choice. We feel so blessed to have found this gem! Remmick’s home is so safe clean and inviting, it’s the perfect environment for children of all ages. She has separate play areas with age group related toys for their safety and development. Since our son has been going to remmick his constant development is amazing to see. Rem is not your standard feed from a jar childminder, she believes in fruit pots and Home made healthy food for the kids. The fact that our son is so excited to go to Remmick’s in the morning shows what an amazing job she is doing! Blessed to have found her!

Remmick has looked after both of our children and we feel so lucky to have found such an amazing childminder.
On the first meeting with Remmick and her family in 2013 we instantly knew she was the one to care for our first child.
Our son quickly bonded with Remmick and she became a big part of his life. As a toddler he made good friends with the other children in her care and also with other childminders children that she regularly meets up with.
His development came along brilliantly also through a variety of learning opportunities at Remmick’s, the play groups they attend and the regular day trips out.
We had no second thoughts about our youngest child going to Remmick’s and she similarly bonded quickly and settled into the new routines. She still attends as a 2 and a half year old and loves going each day.
We’ve now been using Remmick for over 4 years and we’ve got to know her and her lovely family very well. We couldn’t recommend her highly enough and if you’re considering using a childminder I would recommend making contact with Rem and having that first visit.
