Hi all my name is Kim and I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder in East London/ Poplar area; a(rated: GOOD) provider. I live with my Husband and two lovely boys. Before childminding I’ve had a few rewarding career paths, (Employment Relations)-Human Resources Supervisor; Visual Merchandiser and General Store Assistant Manager all in Retail. Following almost seven years in an office role and two children later, I decided to enter the exciting world of childminding.
As a busy mother of two, I am well aware of the demands and responsibilities involved in caring for children. I have no doubt that the experiences that I have gained and bringing up my own children help me in my role as a childminder. Believe me when I say, I understand how hard and daunting it could be looking for a loving environment for your little one whilst balancing work life can be stressful.
I am very passionate in offering a high standard of care surrounding the EYFS providing a home from home environment where each child can feel safe, play, laugh and grow. I am happy to say that all our activities are planned and executed to give your child a step ahead with preparations for school. The children are very excited about what we learn, as their ideas too is also apart of Topic planning. IF you decide to join our little family you will hear and see from testimonials and first hand from parents about the children in my care. I have a very creative background so our days are packed with fun filled activities to keep those curious and adventurous minds occupied, all based on your child's/ children's interests i.e going to the park, library, playgroups, zoo, museums, sewing, cooking and much more. Our little one joined Minibees when he was just around 1 year old. Kim's setting was a blessing for us and our son got accustomed to going to her place every day with little effort in settling down. We are both working parents and we have no family help near us, she has been very good with her childcare support and takes her job very seriously. Kim is very passionate at her job and takes pride in laying the ground work for the kids. It's from her that he's learnt almost everything he's capable of doing. This includes speach, etiquettes, behaviour while being a kind kid and playing nicely with all the other kids. We are more than satisfied with the service that we have received from Kymia and are very glad of the decision we took to send our son to her. It was a home away from home for him and has made a big impact in our lives.

Our son has thrived being in Kim's setting. He loves going there and and doing all the fun things she plans. She encourages learning through play but also has structure so that he knows what to expect each day and will also be able to adapt into a formal school setting. We have been with her for 2.5 years and we know that she was the best choice. We receive a daily report on what activities they have done, what they have eaten and photos from the day. She takes them to playgroups and forest school, and the odd day out when possible. He will be starting nursery in September and she has also provided us an in depth report on our son to give to the school to help with the transition. She is incredibly thoughtful and always puts the children first, finding things they enjoy to help them learn new things. She is constantly updating her qualifications and learning so she can provide the best care for the children she looks after. 100% recommend!!
