About Me
I am 40 and live at home with my husband of 16 years and our 3 sons who are 13, 10 and 6yrs old.
I also have 2 very friendly and excitable cockerpoo’s! And a bearded dragon!
I have been a fully qualified childminder for almost 14 years now and am loving every minute!
I work mon-Thurs from 7:45am.
I also offer term-time only contract.
I can offer school drop off/pick up from Ad Astra infant school.
Before childminding I was an ofsted registered nanny for 11 years and loved every aspect of each job.
I am a confident, professional and fun-loving person who is wholly trusthworthy.
I love to be active and help children play and explore. I have a lovely family home with a range of toys for all ages and large garden with artificial grass, a playhouse, treehouse and plenty of outdoor toys.
We attend local toddler groups with other childminders, soft play centres, gymnastics, music groups, local parks, the beach and farmer palmers to name a few.
The children just love all of our adventures!
My Experience
I have been working in childcare since 2000 and have a range of experience, which include schools, nurseries and sole-charge nannying.
Before childminding I was a nanny for 11 years, working with 3 families.
In each job I started with the child/children from a baby through to school age.
My responsibilities included seeing to their everyday needs, developing skills and household chores. It was most important for me to form a close relationship and have fun! It has been extremely rewarding to each child develop in their own way and being a part of them growing up.
My Qualifications
I have a Level 3 BTEC National Diploma in Early Years.
Paediatric First Aid
Higher level Safeguarding
I attend many training sessions each week to upskill myself and my knowledge.
My Availability
As of September 2024 I will have a Monday-Thursday term time only space available and a Monday-Wednesday all year round space.
I can also do school drop off/collection from Ad Astra infant school.
I also offer school holiday cover too.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
From January 2024 I charge £5.50 an hour, £5 before school care and £10 afterschool care.
