About Me
I am an Ofsted registered childminder and qualified Nursery Nurse with over 30 years childcare experience, DBS checked and Paediatric First Aid trained. I am a happily married mum with three teenage children of my own. We have a very quiet, friendly cocker spaniel, who loves children, and the children in my care adore. I have worked with children since leaving schooI. I love animals, cooking, reading, travelling, swimming, cycling and spending lots of time with my family and friends.
My Experience
I have over 30 years experience looking after children from new born through to 17yrs. Working in day nurseries, a baby unit as a deputy manager, working in a school, Boarding House Tutor, Childminder, babysitter and as a Nanny.
I can provide many excellent references.
My Qualifications
I studied childcare at school, then trained full time at college for two years, gaining the NNEB qualification in childcare. I also completed the Childminding course through Pacey and gained the Childminding qualification too. I am Ofsted registered, hold a paediatric first aid certficate, food hygiene certificate and safeguarding. I am DBS checked.
My Availability
I will have a space Monday - Thursday available from September 2024. I also have a Monday available from now.
I work Monday - Thursday, 8am - 5pm. Childminding for children up to the age of 5 years only. So unfortunately I don't offer any school drop offs or pick ups.
