About Me

We are Jellietots Childminding and newly registered with Ofsted (2018). We will be offering childcare to families with children aged from birth to 5 years. The property is a semi detached house set in a great location with easy access to the local beach, park, zoo, woods and library. The garden is fully enclosed which is excellent for children to burn off their energy and enjoy the great outdoors. We have a selection of toys to encourage growth and development. Indoors there is a separate creative area for children to explore and engage in messy activities, there is also a second play room which has been newly developed with a play kitchen and more toys for the children to have access to independently.
As well as a homely environment, we also like to explore the great outdoors to give children a greater depth and understanding of the world around them.

We are both very passionate about working with children and enabling them to reach their full potential. Our setting will offer fun, challenging, stimulating activities covering all areas of development as set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage profile. Just like children we each have our own individual personalities, Sophie enjoys being creative and getting stuck in with messy activities and the mothering instinct in Sarah provides a nurturing environment for the children.

We are fully inclusive of all families and will endeavour to meet the needs of all children to the best of our capabilities. We have had experience of working with children and their families whom have additional needs including but not limited to medical, social and emotional requirements. During a previous job role we received Makaton training as well as strategies to overcome behavioural problems.
