Hello, my name is Sherlyn and I run Little Epiphanies Childminding from my family home in Crayford. I have two children of my own (a daughter and a son) and children in my care become part of our warm caring family unit. We have a very friendly and soppy Labrador called Willow and two cats called Lexi and Luna; which have always been around my own and other young children.
My home is with-in close walking distance to Crayford train station and local bus routes. Children will learn, develop and play in my safe, nurturing and fun home-from-home setting with play room and private garden. There are playgroups, soft play and activity sessions, shops, amenities and lots of outdoor play and learning opportunities; parks and nature reserves such as Hall Place and Dartford Heath are all on my door step; where we love to learn about and enjoy the wildlife and being part of our local community. We also like to go on adventures further afield which include farms, country parks and woodlands, zoos, castles and much more!

My Experience
I have been an Ofsted registered childminder since May 2018 and have always had an interest and passion for childcare and children’s wellbeing. I have been very lucky to look after some of my little ones from as young as 5 months old. I love nurturing and caring for all my kids as they explore, play, learn and grow. My experience is from having my own children, looking after family and friends children and now being a childminder.
My Qualifications
Ofsted graded Good.
Early Years SENDCo.
HBCA level 3 qualification
NCFE Caring for children and young people level 2
Paediatric first aid and anaphylaxis trained
Food Hygiene level 2 trained
Safeguarding course completed
CPD (Continuing Professional Development) and training regularly updated through webinars and online courses.

A waiting list is available if I cannot provide a childcare space at time of enquiry.

Our daughter has been looked after three days per week by Sherlyn, for the last three years. She absolutely loves going and has so much fun. Sherlyn is so caring and provides a lovely, warm, educational and fun setting. The children go to so many exciting places, regularly spend time at the allotment and are always out and about. Always well fed with fun and healthy food, Sherlyn packs for all weathers, always carrying extras to keep the kids safe, dry and warm. Honestly could not ask for anything more and a better childminder. Can’t recommend her enough, can reassure any parents that this is an excellent setting and children are very well cared for, stimulated and happy.
