Hello my names Sophie, im 32 years of age. I concider myself to be great with children as a natural care giver with all my experience I have learnt a lot and haven't met a child I havent managed to build a bond or trusting relationship with yet. Every child is different and unique in there own way I feel I'm good and reading how they are and treat every child individually but equally. I am also a parent so understand the level of responsibility you would be trusting me with, you would be trusting me to takecare of your little worlds and I know first hand how hard that is so happy to navigate settling in the best way possible for the child and family. Quick updates during the day would be possible also. My Experience
My child care experience started from when I was 15 I done a course called looking after other people's children so I could do baby sitting which I done regularly for a few families. Then when I left school and attending college doing hairdressing, I worked at a children's soft play area as a weekend party planner. I then worked in a nursery full time after I left collegei was there for 2 years. I left there to work along side my mum as a family run childminders I done this for a number of years 4/5 years, while childminding I worked at an after school club also. I then work in another nursery short term. My most recent employment was as a heath care assistant at addenbrookes I started of as bank and
spent most of my time on the pediatric wards before I went permanent in oncology. After having my son I nannyed for a family but then covid hit and we all have to stop working. I then was an 9ver night career for a little lad with addition complex needs, then after 18 months I went to a day career for a lady with complex needs. When my son went to preschool I started working in the setting 2 years later I had my second baby, I'm currently still on maternity leave but have trained in childminding and will be qualifying soon so start my own childcare from home.

My Qualifications
Currently doing a level 3 childminding college course. But I do have over 14 years experience working in all types of settings with children of all ages.
My Availability
I haven't started yet but will be looking to start taking on children from April 2025 possibly sooner if ofsted allows. I will be working the whole tear through taking a week off at Christmas a week of at Easter and two weeks in the summer holidays. These will come with plenty of warning other then that it's the whole year. If you need more then my availability is set to still message me we might be able to sort something out to help with your families requirements.

My Fees
- Nannying from £10.00 per hour (gross)
My fees will be set to a standard childminder rate for my area. If additional child care is required ie earlier morning or later evening then charges maybe slightly more.
