About Me
Hello my names Sophie, im 29 years of age. I concider myself to be great with children as a natural care giver with all my experience I have learnt a lot and haven't met a child I havent managed to build a friendship or trusting relationship with yet. Every child is different and unique in there own way I feel I'm good and reading how they are and treat every child individually but equally. I am also a mummy too, I would like any family who would concider me to consider my son also if possible, I am a very fair person and am fully aware I'm there to do a job.
My Experience
My child care experience started from when I was 15 I done a course called looking after other people's children so I could do baby sitting which I done regularly for a few families. Then when I left school and attending college doing hairdressing, I worked at a children's soft play area as a weekend party planner. I then worked in a nursery full time after I left collegei was there for 2 years. I left there to work along side my mum as a family run childminders I done this for a number of years 4/5 years, while childminding I worked at an after school club also. I then work in another nursery short term. My most recent employment was as a heath care assistant at addenbrookes I started of as bank and
spent most of my time on the pediatric wards before I went permanent in oncology. Or though I have no qualifications on paper in child care I feel I have more than enough experience to make up for that l, I will also be putting myself on different courses to build a portfolio and emprove on my care giving and skills.

My Qualifications
Currently no child care qualifications how ever a lot of experience and a natural with children I think personally thats just as good if not better for the experience, also as I have said I will be looking to put myself on courses again. I have done courses with previous employers such as safe guarding, peds first aid and other training relevant to my roles.
My Availability
My availability can be quite flexible as long as the family that picks me understands I have child too and I would like it to be possible to bring him with me. Can I also say and I think it goes with out saying but this will not change the level of care I deliver, all children in my care will be treated equally and fairly.
