About Me
*Sorry no vacancies* Hi, I'm Jane. I am an Ofsted registered childminder with over 28 years childminding experience. I offer affordable, good quality childcare in a calm and caring environment. I live in the Wibsey area of Bradford 6 very close to Wibsey Park. As my setting is based so close to the park, it gives the children ample outdoor play space. I am a friendly, reliable and approachable person.
I currently provide childcare for a toddler born January 2022. I also care for 2 almost 4 year olds who will shortly be leaving me to start Primary school. I am no longer offering schoolrun places.
Parents are more than welcome to view my excellent references and portfolios or speak to parents of currently minded children. Almost all of the children at my setting have attended from being babies.
I am able to offer childcare for funded 2 year old children from low income families.
Also funded 3 and 4 year old children, including the 30 hours FREE childcare for parents who work 16 hours or more. Single parents are eligible if working 16 hours or more.
All faiths welcomed. I respect religious values eg dietary requirements.
I offer childcare until children begin Primary School. As I work in my own home (domestic premises) I do not have the same overheads eg ridiculous energy prices as business premises. This enables me to assure families that I will not be closing down during the cost of living crisis, providing parents with reassurance that their little ones will not need to be uprooted to another childcare setting once they have settled with me.
I was inspected by OFSTED (December 2018) and was very happy to maintain my GOOD grading.

* the childminder is warm and nurturing. She provides children with reassurance, encouragement and praise as they play. Children are emotionally secure, confident and comfortable in the childminders company
* parents speak positively about the 'excellent' care, support and learning opportunities the childminder provides for their children
* the childminder provides a wide range of interesting and motivating learning experiences that children enjoy. She extends childrens language through her positive teaching. Children behave well
* the childminder is organised and implements robust risk assessment procedures. This contributes to the smooth running of her business

Sorry I don't have any places for school aged children
I have 4 weeks holiday per year. No fees patable for my holiday weeks. Usually Easter (1 week) Spring Bank (1 week) August (1 week) Christmas (1 week)

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.00 per hour
FEES £4 per hour
Minimum 3 days a week.
Minimum 5 hours per day eg 9.30am - 2.30pm
£4 per hour includes snacks and lunch.
NO HIDDEN EXTRA CHARGES eg outings, registration fees, settling-in session or meals/snacks.
No fees payable for my holidays.
For term time only children NO FEES are payable in school holidays.
Unfortunately I am unable to accommodate shift patterns ie different days each week
All fees are payable weekly in advance on Mondays. Fees are only for the week ahead which is clearer for parents to see exactly what they are paying for rather than adding up the total of weeks a year and dividing by months eg 39 weeks ÷ 12 months, which can lead to overpayments when a child moves on.
Sloppy payers are not welcomed as I prefer not to have to regularly ask for fees to be paid as I already spend a lot of my free time on the more enjoyable task of organising fun learning activities for the children.

Jane has cared for my daughter since she was 1 year old after I took my daughter out of nursery, i found the nursery setting to overwhelming and the care for a baby was just not what I expected, Jane has been amazing with my daughter learning and keeping her up to date with all numbers letters colours e.t.c I work full time and have an older daughter who use to hate going to nursery to the point she’d cry leaving me feeling like the worst parent, Jane has welcomed my daughter Into her home and created a happy place that my daughter absolutely loves going to, i have never had tears not once. I also found Jane made everything like getting rid of dummy coming out of nappy’s so much easier for me. I can not thank Jane enough for the care she gives and continues to give my daughter, one mummy who is forever grateful and goes to work knowing her daughter is in the best hands 🥰

My daughter was cared for by Jane for two years before starting pre school. Jane is an excellent childminder, friendly, helpful and patient. My daughter really enjoyed her time with Jane. They spent days playing, doing arts and crafts, baking, teaching letters, numbers, and how to write her own name amongst lots of other things. She progressed very well in Jane's care.
I can highly recommend jane to offer your child a safe and fun environment.

Sophia came to me as a shy little girl. Over her 2 years here she gained confidence and was always eager to learn new things which helped her settle and make a flying start at school nursery.
Sophia is a kind, caring and loving little girl. We all miss her very much xx 😁
Both my children attend Jane's. Ethan is now 5 and has been going since he was 2 and now goes before and after school, and my daughter Edith now 3 has been going since she was two. Both my children adore Jane and Edith often comes home singing the songs Jane has sung with her and telling me what she's done :D I have their pictures and paintings on my wall :D
Jane has really helped with the development of my children and I genuinely cannot fault her care. She sends me pictures of Edith and what they're up to which is so nice seeing how happy Edith is with her. I feel Jane is more than just our child minder, she's been an amazing support with the children (and me) when I've needed her. Jane goes above and beyond her role and I will always recommend her. Her home is lovely and welcoming and the selection of toys/books she has is brilliant. Jane is friendly and kind and will be sensitive to your needs. Jane is amazing at what she does :) xx
