About Me
My name is Graca Emiliana and I am an OFSTED approved childminder. I am also registered with the social services. I work from my home and I am a caring and lovely person, with a lot of experience working with children. I have three children of my own, two boys and one girl. I also try to promote healthy living and eating by keeping the children occupied with activities to stimulate their minds and expand their creativity. I often take the children to different playgroups where they can meet other children to socialise and play with.
With regards to healthy eating I try to feed the children fruits, vegetables and water is available at all the time. In order to track the child’s progress and development I use a Whats App to record and take photographs of the various types of art work and activities they have participated in.
N.B I only work within the W2/W9 London area.
My Experience
I have been a childminder since 2005, in which I have gained an enormous amount of experience. I have worked with children from newly born right up to 11 years of age. Within these age groups I have also worked with children from a range of backgrounds in respect to, cultures, religions and ethnicity. I have also worked with parents with all types of requirements and needs. I did a one year part time placement in Edward Wilson Primary School where I assisted the teachers in the nursery with everyday duties in regards to caring for the children. Children enjoy outdoor play in spacious space, practising physical skills such as climbing, sliding and ball games, running and enjoy trying out some new skills for example: trying out some mindfulness exercises to help them to relax.
