As I am sure is the case for all parents, the thought of leaving our daughter, Madeline, with anyone (even family members) is not something that we take lightly. From our first meeting, Sarah has always been professional, bright, friendly and helpful - as are all her family. From seeing Madeline's interactions at pick up and drop off, and from the stories she tells, it's clear how much she loves all of the Rigby family. Regularly when I come to collect her she rushes out to see me for a hug, before immediately disappearing back inside to continue playing with Sarah's children.
Sarah's home is always neat and tidy and filled with lots of things to keep the children entertained. Sarah makes sure to change things around to keep the children interested and they visit lots of places such as the local wildlife park, soft play and play parks. They also engage in lots of different craft activities, most of which are on display in our home! Sarah also sends lots of pictures of Madeline enjoying herself with her friends at these places which is great to see.
As part of her care, Sarah spends a lot of time helping the children with their learning development. At 3 years and 2 months, Madeline can already count to 15 and recognise nearly all of the letters of the alphabet as well as give examples of words that start with a given letter. All of our friends and family constantly marvel at her development and how good her conversational skills are.
Sarah is flexible and regularly puts herself out to help. She often collects Madeline if she is passing and on the occasions when we have been running late for pick up, there is never any fuss or drama.
As well as caring for Madeline, Sarah is a mine of useful parenting information and is always happy to give advice and answer questions. Sarah was invaluable in helping with potty training, giving advice and helping Madeline make the change. Madeline has been in underwear for quite some time now and is able to take herself to the toilet with minimal supervision.
Both my wife and myself are delighted with the care that Sarah provides to our daughter and we would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone who was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to have her care for their child. She is not only a great childminder, but also a lovely person and we are very grateful that she has played so full a part in the development of our daughter.

over the past 5 years Sarah has cared for both of my children.
Both of my children started with Sarah at the age of 10months.
my daughter went on to nursery age 3 and now my son has been going to Sarah since the end of 2022.
I honestly don't know what I would have done without Sarah!
Her house is built for children!!! both my kids love being there! my daughter age 4 now (at school) runs in kicks her shoes off and goes about her play when we are only supposed to be picking her brother up!
Other children we have met during our time with Sarah have always been so happy there too, which is so reassuring.
Sarah is so experienced. She takes them out to visit all sorts! parks, museums, walks, cafes, animal parks, forests you name it!
Sarah keeps their little brains ticking all the time through their play and is a great communicator about what they have been up to and what topics they have been looking at and also will separately acknowledge or prompt any milestones that have been met or need support with.
Sarah is always approachable for advice, tips and tricks to help navigate mum life!
She is also great at making sure you are aware of new government schemes and how to get these set up!
Sarah often goes the extra mile. We all enjoyed a Christmas party and even santa came!
I honestly could not recommend Sarah enough! my colleagues often say they wish they lived closer so they could send their kids too!
