Brilliant childcare
Both my children (aged 3 1/2 and 2) have been coming to Lyndsay's since they were 9 months old. I have always been really happy with the childcare provided and I feel that the ethos and values of both Lyndsay and Jacqueline are shared with my own so I know my children will have consistency between home and childcare. I feel like my children are one of the family which makes me feel confident that they are happy and are well looked after.
I live some distance from Lyndsay's (I moved just before my second started with Lyndsay) and, despite the distance, I had not thought of changing my childcare as I am so happy with the placement and my children are obviously very happy too. I feel that my children have thrived in this setting.
Lyndsay has a communication book which she completes for my children which details the meals/activities on a day to day basis which I feel allows me the opportunity to know what my children are doing. I also feel that I have time when I drop off/pick up my children to talk about the day etc. This approach helps me to participate in, and continue, some of the topics/activities they have been doing (although maybe not the jelly or gloop which I am always being asked to do at home - I will keep that mess with Lyndsay thanks!). I feel that there is a good balance between doing 'fun' developmental stuff and doing the more formal educational work with the children.
