About Me
My name is Mary Thompson, I am a registered childminder. I have 2 grown up children, 1 whom still lives at home and has a full DBS check.
I have been a childminder for 15 years and have loved every minute. I have always worked with parents to ensure your child has the best learning experience. I like to make sure my setting is home from home for your child so they feel as comfortable as they can so they can thrive in their learning and play. I enjoy taking the children on a variety of outings such as the farm, park, local library and play groups. I ensure your child has the chance to develop holistically through learning and play experiences.
I do school drop offs/ pick ups/ nursery for Sacred Heart School.

Mary is Amazing! She has been looking after my son for the last four years and he absolutely loves her, all of the children and parents do! Her home is like a second home and nothing is too much trouble for Mary when it comes to the children and supporting their families. I feel very comfortable leaving my son with Mary and I’m safe in the knowledge he is well cared for and safe. Mary came highly recommended to me and I have no hesitation recommending her to others.

Mary is a lovely, kind, friendly, helpful, reliable, hard working person who makes a wonderful childminder. She has been my children's childminder for the past 8 years: first for my son then for my daughter and both of my children love her and love going to her house.
For the past 8 years I have always felt confident and content leaving my children in her care as she always has their safety as priority and cares for them in a loving manner whilst supporting them in their development through fun activities which has well equipped both my children in the skills required for starting school nursery.

Mary looked after my little boy from when he was about 4 months old. Knowing how apprehensive I was about leaving him and going back to work, Mary went out of her way to make sure he was well settled with her. He adored Mary from the start and I felt at ease, making the transition as easy as it could be. Mary is incredible and you can see all the children just love her. She always has fun, stimulating and educational activities out and does a wide range with them. She makes sure the children eat a healthy, balanced variety of foods. Words cannot sum up how wonderful this lady is, she is just simply amazing.

My 2 daughters went to Mary for 5 years my youngest was 5 months old and my eldest was 5 year old and from day 1 Mary made them feel very welcome like home from home. She is very professional and the children learn rules i.e road safety tidy up time how to play fairly but Mart is a very caring and kind person too. Both my daughters enjoyed their days at Marys house and went on lots of outings and we're kept busy . They also met lots of new friends and are very close with the family too I would recommend Mary to any parent looking for a child minder she is like a real life Mary Poppin's
