About Me
Hello! My names Ellie, I’m a 30 year old composer and musician and I have recently moved from London to Brighton. I am looking for part time work in childcare to support my work in theatre. I am energetic, creative, kind and patient.
My Experience
I have been babysitting in London since 2014 to first support my studies and then to supplement my freelance income. For this I did school pick ups and drop offs, made dinner for the kids, helped them with homework, read them plenty of stories, played lots of games (drama degree comes in handy there!!) and put them to bed. I also took care of a lovely 2 year old on a part time basis for 9 months back in 2018, this included nappy changing, bottle feeding and endless cot-side settling! I am also the proud aunty of two lovely girls aged 7 and 9 years old. I spend all my time when I visit home helping my sister with them so I am well versed in caring for little ones of all ages! I love to help kids really explore their imagination and creativity!
My Qualifications
I don’t have any qualifications per se, but I have years of experience.
My Availability
I work freelance in my theatre work so my availability is varied but I always know well in advance when I will be working. So it can be anywhere from 2 days when I have freelance work on, or 5+ days when I don’t.

- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
Vary based on the amount of work offered. If it’s just one off now and then I’ll charge a set rate, but if it’s a prolonged placement then we can work on weekly rates that are affordable for the family.
