About Me
I am a qualified primary school teacher of near 10 years based in Abbots Langley and working in London. I am 31 years old and have a Masters in History from a Russell Group University. I enjoy teaching children of all abilities and watching children learn and excel- I joined the teaching profession to help as many children as I can and to pass on my love of learning. I have a teaching diploma in music and love teaching in engaging and imaginative ways.
My Experience
I have tutored a number of children successfully through the 11+exams and these children have gained places in highly reputable schools in the local area. I have also worked with children of all age ranges from 5-11. I have experience with barriers to learning and have worked individually with children with learning difficulties. I am passionate and enthusiastic about allowing children to make the most amount of progress possible and ensuring that children enjoy their learning. I am very familiar with the national expectations and the different ways in which children can be supported to achieve and exceed these requirements. I have worked with gifted and talented children ensuring that they are inspired, motivated and challenged to reach their individual potential.
My Qualifications
PGCE in primary education- studying for a Masters in Education.
Masters in History from Queen's University.
BA Degree in History Queen's University .
My Availability
I am available for evening tutoring sessions and at the weekend.
