About Me

We are a family of four- Mum, Dad, a girl (6) and boy (4)... and a cat! We live in Summertown (North Oxford), and I am a solicitor working in Bristol/London/home and my husband is a teacher who works locally. We have very busy jobs with long hours and our children are at local schools within walking distance. Living at St Edwards School means we have a Nuffield Health on site. We would be happy to pay for gym membership as part of the role.

We are looking for someone to pick our kids up from school at 3.30, take to clubs, read with them, cook supper and get them ready for bed (up to 7.30 although we can usually take over earlier if this is preferable). Ideally we would also like someone to (i) help for an hour or so in the morning with drop off and (ii) provide some level of ad hoc care in the holidays. THE LATTER ARE NOT DEAL BREAKERS THOUGH AND WE WILL BE AS FLEXIBLE AS WE CAN BE TO STRUCTURE A ROUTINE THAT WORKS FOR OUR NANNY.

The odd Friday evening babysitting would also be great and if helpful, more hours are on offer in terms of household work.

The kids are well behaved and polite, which are values we regard highly.

We are also happy to consider a nanny who would like to bring their own child to work as this has worked well for us in the past!

We can offer around 25 + hours per week during term time, more during the school holidays if of interest.

We may also consider giving you use of a car or contributing to bus travel.
