About Me
I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder who is NNEB qualified and FAA Level 3 First Aid trained. I have three children and four grandchildren of my own and have been active in Children's Education for most of my working career. I like to keep the kids busy with going to the park, local garden centres, farms, playgroups and local woodlands. I will also be taking the children to soft plays and to other childminder’s houses for playdates etc. I encourage creativity by providing a stimulating and enabling environment where the kids can learn, grow, explore and socialise.
My Experience
I am both NNEB and BTEC Level 2 qualified and I have previously worked in the London Borough of Sutton Schools at Nursery, Primary and Secondary levels. I have attended various courses to help support children with moderate or severe learning difficulties. I have worked as a Childminder's Assistant for a year whilst waiting to be registered by Ofsted which was prolonged by the Pandemic and Lockdown. I have been registered by Ofsted since August 2020 and have been actively Childminding since then.

Nicky is a fantastic childminder with lots of creative ideas.
She has a great selection of toys including educational toys. She is not afraid to get her hands dirty and do something creative with the children. My fridge is covered in paintings, handprints, glitter etc!
Her service is high quality, friendly, flexible and understanding of different needs / home.
We would both like to thank her enormously for the love and care she has given our son in all this time she's been looking
after him; he is always settled and happy to stay with her.
I think my son development has a lot to do with her hard work and commitment.
I am more than happy with the care my son receives from Nicky. Not only do I feel like he is learning valuable skills, but I
am happy knowing that he feels safe and secure.
I am so pleased with the level of care she provides. It makes being a working mom a lot easier, knowing your child is in the best environment.
My son is treated like part of her family, what else can you ask for.
We have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone that asks and would be happy to provide letters of recommendation or references for Nicky at any
time in the future.

We have been incredibly fortunate to have Nanny Nicky as our childminder for nearly a year now. From the moment she began caring for our baby at 10 months old, it was evident that she is truly passionate about her work.
Nanny Nicky's dedication is extraordinary, she has established a wonderful daily routine that includes play, learning, and fun. My baby really thrives in her care and it is heartwarming to see how much he loves his time with her.
She also takes him to various activities during the week and ensures he spends ample time outdoors in the garden, where there are plenty of outdoor toys that he absolutely loves.
One aspect I particularly appreciate about Nanny Nicky is her attention to developmental milestones, respect and manners. She gently encourages my son to learn something new every day and be independent, teaching him things like how to remove his shoes and coat, put his little hand in front of his mouth when coughing, navigate the stairs, use the slide safely. She is also really creative, constantly introduces new toys and activities on a 2/3 day rotation and almost every day my toddler arrives home with a new drawing, a card or any kind of super cute art-work. Her focus on these details has significantly contributed to my child's development in fine and gross motor skills. They also read books and talk a lot during their activities and lunch, which has been great for the language development of my bilingual son. (Italian at home and English with Nanny Nicky).
As a first-time mum, her support and suggestions have been invaluable. She has provided guidance and reassurance, making my transition back to work so much easier. Knowing that my baby is in such capable and caring hands gives me immense peace of mind.
I feel incredibly blessed to have found Nanny Nicky. She is not just a childminder; she is a nurturing and loving presence in my baby's life. I wholeheartedly recommend her to any parent seeking exceptional care for their child. Nanny Nicky has truly been a gift to our family!

Nicky is like a second family for us and our little Armand who has been going to hers 4 days a week since he was 6 months old and is now about to turn 3. We speak french at home and I can say that his speech in English has developped so much with Nicky to the point where he can switch from one language to another easily now. It’s great to watch him grow in such a great evironment. We have our second child on the way and he will also be going to Nanny Nicky’s.

If you want to be 100% sure that your child is safe and receiving the developmental experiences they need, then get in touch with Nicky.
From the moment we left after our first visit with Nicky, we knew we had found a fantastic childminder. As first time parents we have found Nicky's experience and knowledge invaluable.
Our daughter loves being with Nicky and we are always amazed with the incredible physical and social skills that are developed every week.

I was very stressed in my research for a childminder as it is so scary to find the right person but I found Nicky and she has always been even better than what we could have imagined.
Our little boy has a big smile every morning when I drop him as he knows he is gonna have so much fun with all the activities they are doing. He really feels at home!
I also want to highlight how helpful Nicky has been with her advises but also her flexibility she is a true support to our family I could not recommend her more!

It’s a pleasure to provide highest recommendations to Nicky! She has been looking after my 17-month-old son for a few months now, and I'm very glad we’ve found her. Her house it's always very clean, has a great setup for the children, a variety of toys and a great backyard space. Nicky does various activities where some are truly educational exercises, so our son can learn and have fun at the same time. I found this very important at this early stage of his development. She really loves what she does, and you can see that in every detail. Nicky has a "good way" on teaching my son rules and good manners, she works together with us on any issues, so we can all do the same as a united team.She keeps us updated throughout the day about our son, which is a blessing for a mama's heart. Nicky is very flexible, and I really appreciate it. I cannot recommend her enough.

Nicky has been looking after my two children (ages 4 and 7) for years now, and I cannot recommend her enough! My kids love her, and I know they're always in safe and capable hands when they're with her. She's endlessly patient and always speaks to the children with respect (something that I really value). Nicky plans fun activities for the kids: they often do crafts or learning activities and spend a lot of time playing outdoors. She even offered to plan some special learning activities for my older son who has learning difficulties. Her house is well set up for children--it's clean with a great outdoor space and plenty of toys. She makes sure that the children are safe at all times. For example, when she dropped my son off at football, she went out of her way to make sure that all of the football coaches were aware of my son's nut allergy and kept his epipens in a suitable place. Additionally, Nicky is really flexible, which makes my life so much easier. We're so grateful to have Nicky has a childminder!

Nicky looked after our little one for almost two years and we couldn't have been happier- we found her by luck at first, really tight with time. She proved to be perfect (and more!)! She is so flexible and generous with her time- and kids love her. Her house and garden are very well set up and they all love the daily activities. Our little one started saying in the morning " I wonder what toys are out today"- although she also let them have free play with their chosen toys. Nicky take the kids out all the time, and every week there are lots of fun and educational activities. My wife loves the daily pictures we receive also and we both love the fact that never once has our little one not wanted to go- every morning is so easy thanks to Nicky! A truly caring, kind and flexible childminder- we really feel we found a gem by chance!

Our daughter was with Nicky for two years until we moved away from London last April- and from April to July, we still drove to her daily as we didn't want our daughter going to anyone else! she is now starting nursery in the primary school two minutes walk from home but even now, 45 minutes drive from Nicky, we still call her occasionally to look after Sarah when we need as we trust her so much, and we know Sarah always loves going back to her house and her family. And we are so lucky and soooo grateful that Nicky is always so caring and flexible and happy to help out (holidays or term time!).
I cannot recommend Nicky enough. Your little one will be in safe and truly caring hands- not to mention all the lovely daily activities (Nicky loves craft!) and all the great times outdoor (which my daughter always loves!).

We sent our 2.5 year old daughter to Nicky for a 2 months period as I needed extra support during that period. My daughter usually took some time to get on with a new face. But Nicky was so good at kids that she played with her right away. During the 2 months, my daughter was looking forwards to go to Nicky everyday and always talked about her at home.
I could see Nicky really gave her heart to the kids. She provided detailed care and held a great variety of activities on art, math, languages, biology, outing and more. The setting was like a little nursery if not more. And she has a great approach to kids to teach them good attitude such as waiting for their turns for the toys.
My daughter had an amazing time with Nicky and I felt so lucky to have found someone I can fully trust. Absolutely highly recommended!!
