About Me

I am a fun, outgoing 26-year old who is looking for my next adventure. I love children and have wanted to pursue this as a career from my teen years, having come from a big family with 3 siblings, me being the eldest. I loved helping my mum with my brothers, of which one has autism, who I help my mum with on a daily basis and have learnt so much more about children with special needs from this and knew from then I just wanted to work with children. To me, working with children, is not just a “job”, it’s about creating memories with them and seeing them happy and thrive to push them to do their best in life.

I have worked within various roles in Education over the past 10 years. My experience in childcare has directly improved the day-to-day life of the families I have supported in my past jobs within education such as a Family Liaison Officer. I am confident that I would make a positive impact as part of your family’s household. As a Family Liaison Officer, I have encountered a variety of children and family situations, which has shaped me into a flexible and quick-thinking worker. Beyond basic childcare, I uphold high standards of academics and healthy living for the families I work with. I established a 3-month English Family Learning course (mainly targeted at families with English as an additional language), which included various parent and child activities to help improve their English. This course contributed to a 45% increase in their reading scores at school (tests were taken before and after the course).

In addition, I would love to be of some help to families who I could communicate and get on with well as I am a bubbly, reliable, flexible and sporty young woman, who is trying to climb to the top of the hierarchy in childcare. I am willing to travel, as I would love to see the world whilst working within an industry that I am passionate about! My experience and personal skills make me a reliable candidate who will effectively help run your families’ household.
