About Me
I have worked with children for most of my life. I did my NNEB (National Nursery Examination Board) qualification in 1990. I knew from a very early age that i loved babies and children and wanted to work with them as my chosen career. My first job was in a privately run Nursery, i then went on to Nanny for a family of 3 (age ranges, birth - 6 years). I then worked in a school Nursery and Reception class. After having my own 2 children i decided to go down the Child Minding route as i still wanted to be able to be with my own children. I qualified as a Child minder in 2008 and ive never looked back.
My Experience
I have worked with new borns up to the age of 11 years. I have worked in a wide range of Child care settings from private Nursery, Nannying, School Nursery and Reception class.
My Qualifications
I have my NNEB (National Nursery Examination Board) which i did at West Kent College in Tonbridge.
I did my CASHE Level 3 Diploma in Home-Based Childcare in 2008.
I also have a foundation degree in Child and Youth studies.
I have undertaken several Firstaid courses and is currently up to date.
My Availability
I work Monday to Thursday and try and keep Fridays free to spend time with my own children.
I work from 7.30am - 5.30pm with babies, pre-school age children. I also do a before and after school club with children from my local schools, Thurnham and Roseacre.
