About Me
Hi, my name is Michelle and I have been an OFSTED registered childminder for 14 years. I am a member of PACEY and have my public liability insurance with them. I have 1 cat, and 2 very small Chihuahuas.! I have lots of toys and equipment that are age appropriate. I enjoy cooking with the children and regularly make homecooked meals and desserts, i provide lots of opportunities for arts and crafts. Indoor activities include, drawing, painting, colouring, play dough, books, stories, sing songS and instruments, dancing to music, board games, puzzles, cooking, dressing up, DVD’s, free play and much more. I have an enclosed garden that has a slide, ball pool, water table, trampoline with safety enclosure, and lots of ride on cars, tractor and scooters, mud kitchen, outdoor arts n crafts and plenty of ball games.
My Experience
My chilldminding experience has enabled me to have the privilage of looking after babies from 3 weeks old but also the satisfaction you get from older children up to the age of 10 years. I attend Chilminding groups,and toddler groups each week as well as the library and sure start centres. During the holidays i go to lots of different attractions, Leeds Castle is a favourite, Rare Breeds, Port Lympe and Howletts Zoo, Beaches and adventure play parks.
My Qualifications
I have certificates in Paediatric First Aid and Safe Guarding Children and have attended a course for EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) training.I also have completed a Child Protection cousre which I have a certificate for and Observation and Assessment.I have a Diploma In Home-Based childcare and nannying. I graduated from university in March 2012 for a Foundation Degree in Early Years Studies. I have recently completed a course on Active learning.
My Availability
I am available Monday - sunday - times to suit the parents.
I can drop off or collect from East Stour primary school.
I offer the funded early educational hours for 2,3 and 4 years olds.

We’ve used Michelle for both our children and they still go back in the holidays. A home away from home, except it’s much more fun! The kids are so happy and get to go out and have so many experiences from day trips to parks, the beach, the cinema, picnics…the list goes on. Michelle is Wonder Woman and effortlessly manages energetic kids wherever they go. She is also incredibly supportive of our decisions as parents and works with us to ensure consistency wherever the kids are.

My daughter loves Michelle (Meme), she not only looks after the children but she plays and sings with them and teaches them and takes them on loads of fun and educational outings. I couldnt have found a better person to trust with my daughter, she really is amazing! My little girl has turned into a social and confident person since starting at Michelle's.

I had to find a new childminder due to my previous childcare reducing hours, and I came across Meme through recommendation. Michelle is very easy to talk to and happy to answer any questions and shows all her qualifications for ease of mind. She gives a lovely run down of the activities covered in the day and sends photos and updates throughout the day as well. She offers so many different activities and experiences which are academically and socially enriching for children. Michelle works with the family and child’s needs to achieve goals e.g toilet training and independence. She is very family oriented and amazing at what she does! In all honesty I wish I had been with her since day one! My son had so much fun and we were sorry to say goodbye as my son will be starting primary school in September! Michelle is an absolute gem and I would highly recommend!!!

I have used Michelle on an ad hoc basis during the holidays. She’s pretty in-demand, and for good reason! Both my daughters (aged 6yrs and 4yrs) had a great time, and couldn’t wait to go back. And this was after tears on the first drop off, where Michelle managed to turn the situation around straight away! The kids often get to go out, to the park, to soft play etc which is great. Michelle is clearly passionate about her job and has a naturally caring personality,

Our 4 year old daughter has been looked after by Michelle for a few months. She is really happy there, and is genuinely sad when it's not one of the days when she goes in. Michelle has a lovely setting with plenty of toys and a good sized garden, and puts a lot of energy into organising outings, crafts and games. She is very organised, reliable and great at putting new kids at ease.

My 5 year old son has started to go Michelle during half term and during summer holidays for 3 days a week. Michelle provides a safe environment and tries to include different activities every day for the kids. My little one is usually shy and prefers to stay home with us but he actually enjoyed the time he spent at Michelle’s. I also approached the fact that Michelle was ably to provide documentation regarding ofstead , her qualifications and DBS. I will continue to request support from Michelle during half terms!!! I only have positive things to say about her.

Michelle has looked after my two kids over the last year - and they have absolutely loved their time with her. She has done so much with them, whether its arts and crafts, or days out come rain or shine, my kids have thrived. My son especially was a late talker, but we noticed not long after he started with Michelle that his speech was coming along leaps and bounds.
Highly recommend Michelle - thank you for all you've done for my kids, they will miss you dearly!

Michelle is a fantastic childminder. She is very kind and hardworking and provides excellent care. Henry always has a good time and learns a lot. House is very clean and well equipped. She has an amazing garden so even if they are having indoors activities it's like great. Can't recommend her enough and I am hoping she will find a space for us for next summer :-)

Our daughter has been with Michelle for nearly two years.
She settled in right away, with Michelle and her family welcoming her in to their home hole heartedly.
Michelle has offered our daughter a safe, loving and nurturing environment. Where she has come on so much since being with her.
Our daughter has so many lovely memories with Michelle and her family. From fun and educational activities at home make lots of crafts and baking too day trips out.
Michelle will send me updates with information on what they have being doing in the day along with pictures and videos.
I would highly recommend Michelle, she is an amazing childminder. Xx

My son one of those boys who cried then I had to leave him at nursery, but as soon as he started to go to Michelle he changed! All tiers gone! I couldn't believe it! It proved to me that I made a good choice by picking Michelle as his childminder.
She's gentle, caring, wonderful person. Who made my sons days much happier wile mummy is at work.
If you are looking for the childminder who will make your child happy and safe while you're busy at work choose Michelle and you won't feel sorry. 😉❤️
