Hi my name is Sonya Mullaney, im a Ofsted registered (graded outstanding 2015 & 2022)
I live in the castleford area WF10
I have a purpose built playroom with lots to do from drawing, reading, painting, sticking, small word, Lego, play dough, dolls sensory feedback lights, dolls house sensory tubs, The Baby area sectioned off so the little ones can play freely.
I have a separate outbuilding fully equipped with everything a child needs to select their own choices promoting the best outcome following the early years foundation stage guidance.
Outside we have sand and water, swings, slide, tunnels and bubble fun so the children can always access indoor and outdoor play.
My hours are 7am-5.00pm Monday to Thursday.
I currently don’t work Fridays
I provide the free 15 hrs childcare from 9 Mts to 3 years and 30 hours for 3-4 years.
Tax free childcare and vouchers also accepted.
My Experience
I have been registered now for 17 years and find the job very enjoyable and rewarding.
Having my own 3 children and 2 granddaughters i feel i have gained a lot of experience from this learning their needs and what they want on a day to day basic.
I have completed a level 3 in movement play to help understand what children achieve from physical play to help them later in life which is a fantastic insight.
My Qualifications
I am First Aid & epi-pen trained.
I am a gold member on childcare profile and fully insured by them.
I am regularly attending courses to keep me up to date with the guidance required by law and regulations.
I attend regularly webinars to keep up-to date with curriculum, planning and achieving the best outcome for your child following the early years curriculum.
I am NVQ Level 3 trained in movement play, also have training in covid, safeguarding, schemas, food hygiene,ACES, operation encompass, autism awareness, characteristics of effecting learning, 2 year check, GDPR all information is stored in a locked filing cabinet.
My Availability
I work 7.00am - 5.00 weekday's (unless otherwise agreed)
I work bank holiday's if request.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
My fees are very reasonable and price includes, meals, snacks, fruit, drinks, outings, groups attended.
bank holiday prices will be decided depending on the parents needs and hours.
