About Me

I am a University of Nottingham BSc Psychology graduate currently working as Special Educational Needs Lead in an Alternative Education Provision. My previous role role was working in primary schools in London as an Assistant Psychologist. I also recently completed a postgraduate degree in MA Special and Inclusive Education. I consider myself to be responsible and dependable with an enthusiasm for working with children. I have ten years worth of experience supporting students, staff and families across early years, primary and secondary nursery and school settings. I also have experience working privately with families as an Evening Nanny, Holiday Nanny, Au Pair (USA) and SEN Personal Carer. I have special needs experience across multiple specialist and mainstream settings and a genuine enthusiasm for working with children and young people.

My Experience

I have experience as a Seasonal Nursery Practitioner working in an early years setting. I also have volunteer experience as a classroom assistant in Key Stage 1 and 2 as well as experience as a Youth Club Leader. I have previously worked as a classroom assistant at a school for children and young people with autism spectrum disorders as well as a teaching and psychology assistant at a Secondary School with a specialist autism provision. I also have experience as an SEND personal assistant, evening nanny (early years) and as a HELP Practitioner working with families to implement SEND strategies in their homes.

My Qualifications

I have a BSc Undergraduate degree in Psychology (Hons). I also have a Masters degree in Special and Inclusive Education and a certificate in Understanding Children and Young People’s Mental Health. I have an Enhanced DBS check.

My Availability

I am available Monday-Friday and adhoc during weekends. I can be very flexible with timing.
