About Me
Hi, my name is Connie, I'm 40 years old. Mum to 5 children ages ranged from 8 to 18. I am Ofsted Registered with over 17 years experience
I am located just off the main road enroute to Bolton on a nice quite estate, close to Jacks Key Lodge, prefect for walks, nature trails and exploring our natural surroundings. So wellies and waterproofs are a must!!
My setting is a home from home setting with a very warm and friendly atmosphere with all the amenities to suit all children from birth on-wards. I have a dedicated playroom with access to a secure and safe garden. We will be going on a lot of outings including the library, playgroups, soft play areas, pet farms, zoo, beach, sea life centre and many more. I am a strong believer in all children learn through play, so when your child comes and says I have played all day, they have been learning extensively too !!!!!
Some of the activities we will be doing include arts and crafts, role-play, story, rhyme and song time.
All food served is fresh and homemade. All meals will be provided and fruit and drinks are available throughout the day. I will cater for any special dietary requirements.
I provide nappies, wipes, cream and sun-cream.

My Experience
Along with having 5 children of my own ranging from 8 to 18 and looking after friends and relatives children over the years, I have previously been a childminder for 10+ years, but took a career break. However I feel I can use my passion to help children from an early age to develop and flourish to assist them in reaching their full potential.
I have a qualifications in Children’s Learning and Development along with a Health and social care Diploma.
I am also Makaton trained.

My Availability
I'm available Monday to Friday starting at 8am till 6pm.
Hours outside of these can be arranged, there may be an additional cost.
I drop off and pick up from St Paul's Primary School in Hoddlesdon.
St Barnabas School from September 2027.
I will also care for children from Darwen Academy, however they will have to make their own way up to my settling which is a 20/30 minute walk up the hill.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
Fees for an under 5 years £45 per day includes meals, drinks, crafts.
Half Day rate £25
Fees for an over 5 years £30 per day includes meals, drinks, crafts.
Before School £6.00 Including breakfast
After School £15 Including tea
A small contribution to outings may be asked.
